For the curious, Sly is a new and modern multi system emulator that's aiming to provide a cool user experience and also a fantastic and highly modern developer experience! It runs on *my* cores. It's not built on libretro, so development will take time!

Take the cartridge/box models and textures, and release them in an open format. I would love to use these in a custom Godot frontend for the AYN Thor's bottom screen.

All of my emulators are open source and so will this one be! I didn't make all the models myself, they are largely edited versions of already publicly available ones (I made sure their license allows of course) [1/2]

I'd say, either fix the animation of the cartridge coming off the stack or remove it altogether. Right now rotation and settle are a bit jittery and a bit of a distraction if the user is fast cycling through the stack. Love the boxes though.

When you press to load a ROM. I think it would be cool if it went to insert into the console. With the satisfying click sound they have. Love it though, looks great

Looks pretty neat. One thing I would do to make it more unique would be when you select a game the console appears and the bottom and the cartridge gets inserted into the console

As in for the textures? Good question lol The full database is about 200gb. I'd have to check later. The ones that exist should be 1:1 accurate, these are exact scans of the boxes and labels themselves!

I have made it to 145 kilometers. I am one hour away from reaching 150 kilometers and from the supply box waiting for me there. Fresh socks, food, water, and the small things that feel like everything after this many kilometers. The hardest part is my feet. I am not tired. I still have the strength to keep moving. But every step hurts now. And every time the pain becomes loud, I think about my soldiers. I think about what they endure every day. SOULQUEST IS FINALLY OUT ON STEAM! It's real, after almost 7 years, the days of doubting if the game will see the day of light are over. I’m writing this while I’m still in it. Still stressed. Still exhausted. Still after crying. And I’m still working through the night. I need people to understand what this really looks like. The posts you see do not come from some calm, quiet, comfortable life. They are written in the middle of pressure, fatigue, sickness, grief, and responsibility. I take a photo, I write my story, and I post it. Then I keep working. Because I have to. Because my guys need me. Because I cannot give up. Because if I stop, the consequences are real. Every single day, I make the choice to stay here. And yes, sometimes that choice hurts. I am human. I know I could go home. I know there is a beautiful life waiting for me somewhere else. I know what I am missing. I know what rest could look like. I know what peace could feel like. But I stay. I stay because my boys cannot simply go home. I stay because they do not have the freedoms I have as a foreigner under contract. I stay because love is not a feeling here. Love is duty. Love is sacrifice. Love is showing up again and again, even when you are breaking. Right now, I am doing the work of five or six people in this brigade. Not because I have endless strength. Not because I never fall apart. Not because I am some kind of machine. I do it because I care that much. I do it because I am passionate, because I believe in #Ukraine I am a soldier. Not a volunteer. This is not something I step in and out of when it is convenient or I have the energy. This is my duty. 24/7. 20 - 30 years ago most white blokes would of clumped him, today most would have it on their toes i think. The mentality is so so different. The stance is a defensive one, apologising for what they are, not imposing it. Society has created this and given the Orc the whip hand.
