Take it from me, a recent empty nester: The Good Old Days don’t feel like it at the time. It feels more like hard work and struggle. The days are long but the years fly by. Those four laps in qualifying... honestly, nothing else even comes close. This place is just different, there’s nowhere else like it also for everything it demands from us drivers. Watching from the sidelines this year is pretty tough, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish I was back in the car. I’ll never take the chance I had to qualify and race here for granted. I hope to be back out there fighting for it again one day. Until then, I’ll be watching 👀

Admin Post: This is a T Puller. It's really hard to pull a door closed from a wheelchair and these make it much easier. They stick on the door on the hinge side. I just flip it out and use it to pull the door until I can reach the knob. In the past I've used pull ropes but I still had to go through, turn around, wheel back in to get close enough to grab the rope and then back out. Chesnyy could also grab and pull a rope but there needed to be room for her to maneuver and at times she's not at the door with me (especially if I'm taking another dog out) or she might be carrying something. I find it perplexing why Shia Muslims would choose to hold an Islamic rally for Ashura right next to one of Melbourne’s main Catholic cathedrals. I don’t think anybody would appreciate it if Christians held massive religious rallies right next to mosques in Australia. That would be seen as an intimidating act. I don’t think these actions are good for managing communal harmony and social cohesion.
