Collins and Jerry L. Walls, Roman but not Catholic: what remains at stake 500 years after the Reformation (Grand Rapids: Baker Academic, 2017), 21). By the time the church was having discussions of canon lists and what books did or didn’t possess the mark of inspiration. The books of inspired scripture had already been written, read, copied, passed around, and disseminated for some time. Paul is already being recognized as scripture within the 1st century by Peter in 2 Pet. 3:16, and Paul himself is quoting Luke as scriptural alongside Deuteronomy in 1 Timothy 5. And let’s not forget that the Christians in the first century had a Bible: we call it the Old Testament. When Paul says “all scripture is God breathed” in 2 Timothy, no one is confused about what Paul means when he uses the term “scripture.” Just because books existed as independent documents in the form of physical scrolls and books separate from one another prior to the fourth century with them being codified all in one single unit then, doesn’t mean that they weren’t the Bible prior to that point. We need to be careful not to read back an anachronistic perspective due to our modern privilege of being able to easily have all the biblical books in a single-bound-volume. This is largely due to the amazing and streamlined process of publishing today.

Rescuing Nalanda's famous library. Scholars from Tibet, China, Cambodia, Mongolia, and other places regularly visited Nalanda University to translate the books in its library. This is a precious collection of India's original knowledge that was highly sought after by everyone in the world. Later on, Muslim invaders burned down the entire library of Nalanda. When the Dalai Lama came from Tibet to India in the 1950s, he brought back several hundred Tibetan translations of these works. Infinity Foundation Infinity Foundation gave a grant to Columbia University 20 years ago to translate into English some of the most important books in Nalanda University that were burned by Muslim invaders centuries ago. That project has continued since then as a result of our foundation's historic role in the revival of Indian knowledge.

My thoughts exactly. BTS have always talked about the black artists that they grew up listening too and learned from and respected. However, whenever the conversation of appropriation comes up, people tend to put BTS in the mix without correctly mentioning the fact that BTS have done, and always show their respects and giving flowers to their teachers. NAS being at a BTS concert, my goodness, my heart is still pounding with so much joy and respect. I can only imagine how RM was feeling. The rest of the Tannies too. My mind went straight to how I felt seeing RM and BTS perform with Lil Nas X, J-hope's collab with J. Cole, every time I hear "Change" with Wale, and then there is Bangtan working with Warren G. What timing is this too. OMG 😱😱😱 In my books, this is monumental and I'm ever so humbled every time when such special moments happy. Coleraine Magistrates Court also heard that Isaac Adams (19) “made full and frank admissions” to police when he was arrested. Adams, from the Lislaban Road in Cloughmills, confirmed his identity and that he understood the three charges, all alleged to have been committed on June 28.
