Finally updated my website with projects from the past 3 years — this is probably the last update to this design, it looks so old and it's a nightmare to work with💀

It's been a few years since I updated my compositing reel so I figured it was about time! I've been very fortunate to work on some great projects the past few years, and I'm excited to work on many many more! ✨

A mash up of some 3d work over the past month or so for todays #30DayMapChallenge. It's a mix of work brand stuff, personal experiments and some abstract art exploration thrown in for fun. I also updated my website with some projects from this year if you want to see more 3d map fun! #3d #map

3 years ago today I broke my femur. I've finally made peace with it and tbh barely ever think about it. I told myself I'd commemorate the day every year with an update video and this may be my last one. Simply because, it is truly in the past and I have healed so well. I no longer identify with it like I used to, a great sign of healing. However, I do want to say thank you once again to all of the people from around the world that pitched in to help me so much during that very difficult time. I had just moved to Austin, TX and recently quit my job to do YouTube full time. Breaking my femur was NOT the type of "break a leg" energy I needed. I was blown away by the outpouring of support from my viewers and still hold tremendous gratitude. But this is probably the last time I bring up the femur unless asked about it (which I have helped a few people who have reached out, recently having broken their femur. It's nice to help strangers when they are at such a low point mentally). So long story short, my life has changed dramatically in the past three years, my leg is fully healed, and I am happy to leave it in the past <3

Elon Musk, 3 years ago: This is banana stuff. It probably won't work the first time. “Instead of putting landing legs on the booster and ship, we are going to catch them with a tower to save the weight of the landing legs. We're talking about catching the largest flying object ever made on a giant tower with chopstick arms. It's like Karate Kid with the fly, but much bigger. This probably won't work the first time. Anyway, this is bananas. This is banana stuff.” Interview with Lex Fridman, 2021

“This is probably the last regular season I’ll get to play with my brother…” —Cayden Boozer This really hit me. They’ve shared the court since they were 3 yrs old. So many games and wins… But the real story was always 2 brothers doing it together.

After years of hunting for a clean working one, I finally found one of my most wanted old synths, the Yamaha TQ5. This masterpiece of late 80s design (from the famed Frog Design) is a 4op FM synth that sounds so nostalgic. I made this little demo you hear in the video with it!🥹

I updated my website to give folks the ability to consume my bio in prose, as a list, or as a timeline. You can also tweak how verbose it is and filter the timeline by projects, work experience, and talks.

Gemini 4 Pro is unreal... I'm surprised by how clean and polished it made this monographic website... this looks so good! It took 14 minutes to build this.. seems like the design taste issues earlier Gemini models had is finally solved! Google really cooked!

so far the best way to design with Claude is to stop prompting and praying. design *together* with it. this is me on Lunagraph , designing the app's sidebar.

My updated design portfolio is live. After years of iterations stuck in design hell, I’m proud to start the year with a new site. The reel shows a quick walkthrough of the site, my work, resources, speaking, and other things I’m curious about. Immensely grateful to npm ruin dev, who helped me build this to absolute perfection. ❤️ Link in thread.

Are you kidding me? This is the best website design experience I've had in a long, long time. Shopify just won my heart with this new Winter Edition web design! Seriously, the bar for good design is so high right now. With all the AI slop out there, the only word-of-mouth you can rely on is having great design taste and building a cult around it. Just take Prime Intellect - ultimate design taste. Why wouldn't I send this to my friends or post it online organically? The moat is good design, folks - it's so important with all the AI slop we're seeing today. tobi lutke please give your design team a big big raise!

It's been awhile since I've shared my demo reel! So here is an updated version with some of my lower range :) I've had the pleasure of voicing characters as young as 1 years old to around 35 years of age, this year with my broadcast quality home studio! :)
