I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Because in the 1990s there was this Japanese basketball manga called "slam dunk" that every kid was watching in China, and the opening credits featured an image of this very spot: a railroad crossing on a small street leading to the beach in Kamakura. Apparently this place is so popular with Chinese tourists that they had to cordon it off at some point. Now it's obviously reopened with 3 guards assigned to handle the traffic. And now that they've heard about it, it's my daughters' turn to be hooked on the series so maybe in 20 years' time they'll be perpetuating the passion and come back to this "Slam Dunk" shrine ☺️

So I guess this basketball hoop had been on this fence for a very long time. Very clearly the owners of the fence, and the house backing on to that area, had had enough of the sound of basketballs being bounced against their fence, and the sound of under inflated basketballs being bounced at all times of the day. Were they within their right to do this? Or were they being absolute Karens?

After yesterday’s catastrophe at Fairway Hotel, I decided to visit the premises today and witness the situation for myself. To my surprise, I found the hotel operating normally, just as it always has been. There is no visible sign of flooding or water damage, which speaks volumes about the efficiency and seriousness of the hotel’s management. It is unbelievable that a place which was flooded yesterday could return to full operation within just a matter of hours. Management also confirmed that the issue which caused the flooding was identified and rectified immediately, with measures put in place to ensure such an incident does not happen again.

So the infamous inkigayo camera kiss scene is memorable for yeonseok and he cried for real🥺 Q: What is the most memorable line Yeonseok: At first, I didn't really feel it, but after I got proposed by Heejoo and kissed her, the lines in the back were very touching, "I think I know why I had to live as Baek Saeon. I think it was because of you, It was to meet you." That line was very impressive. We kissed after I get a proposal from Heejoo. It was my first time getting a proposal from a female character, so I cried. I thought, “So This is how it feels like to cry when receiving a proposal.” It was even more like that when I was confessed by Hee-joo despite knowing my situation. I said like, 'I guess I've lived like this to meet someone called you,' the line and the kissing scene are memorable."

My love for MMA has given me so many gifts that I will never take for granted and one gift that I am most grateful for is being able to travel the world. Because of mma and the UFC I’ve been to the UAE many times and every time I go I fall more and more in love with Abu Dhabi. I was eleven years old. My mother was taking me to an eye specialist when we were stopped by a patrol of the IRGC at this very spot. A few strands of my hair were visible, and I had grown too tall for my trousers. The Story of Wesam Mekdad “I am a Palestinian from #Gaza. I fled my homeland in search of safety and the opportunity to work so that I could send money back to my family, who are surviving under the horrors of war. The road was grueling and full of obstacles. First, I went to Egypt, where I waited a full year just to secure a Turkish visa. From Turkey, I attempted to cross into Greece. I failed twice, enduring imprisonment both times. It was only on my third attempt that I finally reached Greek soil. Once there, I was placed in a refugee camp for a year, waiting for a residence permit. But the moment I finally received it, my life was shattered again: I was unjustly imprisoned for four years. My trial was a sham, and it became deeply clear to me that refugees are not treated equally under the law there. Eventually, I was released. Seeking a fresh start, I traveled to Berlin, where I met my wife and we were married. Together, we moved to the Netherlands to apply for asylum. I truly believed that the Netherlands, as a nation built on human rights, would understand our plight. Because I am an innocent man and had absolutely nothing to hide, I was entirely honest with the authorities. I openly told them about my imprisonment in Greece. Tragically, my honesty was weaponized against me. We were shuttled endlessly between different reception centers. During this time, my wife became pregnant. We held onto the hope that the authorities would show compassion for our situation and for our unborn child. Instead, the hammer fell: we received a negative decision. My asylum application was rejected. I was handed a deportation order to Egypt and a two-year entry ban from Europe. My wife’s application was also rejected; she was ordered back to Germany. They told us coldheartedly that even if our child were born on Dutch soil, it would change nothing. The fact that my family in Gaza is trapped in an active war zone seemed to mean absolutely nothing to them. Desperate to prove who we are, I went to the Palestinian Embassy in the Netherlands and obtained official documents confirming my Palestinian nationality and the identity of my family in Gaza. I handed these papers to the authorities. Yet, it feels as though we are screaming into a void. No one is listening. Is this fair? Why is this happening when all I ever wanted was to build a stable, quiet life for myself, my wife, and our daughter? Why am I being condemned for a prison sentence I served unjustly in Greece? I had hoped the Dutch authorities would help me prove my innocence, but instead, they simply wronged me again. Where are human rights? Where are the rights of a child? Where are the rights of a woman? I have lodged an appeal and am now awaiting the judge’s decision. In the meantime, the stress, anxiety, and suffocating uncertainty mount every single day. I am constantly terrified of what tomorrow will bring. I have been stripped of my right to work and my freedom of movement is heavily restricted. Then, the breaking point came. I had to leave CVPR a little early, but I had a wonderful time talking to lots of interesting folks. In particular, I had the chance to test out and talk to Michael Black, Hanz Cuevas V., and Anastasios Yiannakidis about the project. I made a few nice idiomatic Rerun upgrades to it, such as converting images to h264 videos, adding keypoint + segmentation masks, and replacing the sam2 backbone with efficienttam. The method is really, really good compared to everything else I've tried, and I plan on working with it a lot more. With a little engineering effort, I think it could come close to running in real time.

I directed and edited ARTMS’ “bornstunner.mp4”! It was a very unusual project, but just like the blonde girls with angel wings multiplying throughout the city, it was really exciting to see the 240p version of this video being copied and spread across the internet. Digipedi team helped me a lot during the shoot. I’m really honored that I got to be a part of their story, which I’ve always loved. I had a general plan for the edit beforehand, but mostly just followed my instincts as I worked, which was a really fun process.

This has got to be one of the BEST stories in sports card history, and it happened to me this morning. Warning: this story involved a $35,800 transaction, a German wedding, and Lamine Yamal This morning, I woke up and saw a Lamine Yamal /10 Base Prizms Gold NFT for sale on the #PaniniBlockchain for $35,800. I felt that the price was fair and I purchased at 5am. Seconds later, I get a dm from the anonymous seller on Instagram. “Hey this is Brian”. A German guy, few followers. What I learned next is nothing short of f*cking legendary. I’ll let him tell the story from here, and I’ll accompany the epic tale with photo and video proof. Sit down, and buckle up. “Two days before my wedding, the four of us—my best man, my wife, my cousin, and I—went out and bought a few Panini packs together. Just for fun, we agreed that each of us would keep one pack sealed and save it for the wedding day. The plan was to open them together after the ceremony and see what we got. What made it even more special was that my best man had never opened a trading card pack in his life. It was also my wife's first real experience with the hobby. My cousin and I had opened cards before, but none of us expected anything crazy. Our friend from Prime Collectors was there as well. Since he creates card content, he had his camera rolling the entire time, so every reaction you see in the video is completely genuine. After the ceremony, we all sat down and started opening our packs. My best man went first—nothing special. Then my wife opened hers—a few nice cards, but nothing huge. My cousin was next, and again, nothing out of the ordinary. Then it was my turn. I started going through the cards one by one until I saw a flash of gold. The moment I saw it, I knew it could be something big. When I turned the card over, it was a Lamine Yamal Panini NFT numbered 8/10. For a few seconds, nobody said a word. Then everyone completely lost it. You can hear in the video the exact moment everyone realizes what had just been pulled. Even Prime Collectors, who has seen countless incredible pulls, couldn't believe he had just captured that moment on camera. but honestly, the value wasn't the most important part. What made it unforgettable was that it happened on my wedding day, from the one pack I had intentionally saved two days earlier. It's also important to mention that the wedding was already fully paid for, so this wasn't a story about "paying for the wedding" with the card. It was simply an unbelievable coincidence and one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that you could never plan. Looking back, I honestly don't think I'll ever experience another moment quite like it. Today I had my first demo drive in a Tesla. It was also my first time ever sitting in one. This was the first car I’ve ever sat in the driver’s seat of where I didn’t touch the steering wheel for over 20 miles. Before I even got to the car, the people who had demoed it before me were an older married couple who were absolutely euphoric. They thought it was so cool that the car could drive itself. The Tesla employee told me this happens all the time. People come back from demo drives and tell the next test driver that they’re about to have an amazing experience. Little did I know, I’d end up carrying on the torch to the next couple demoing it after me. There was a ton of construction where I demoed the car, and FSD handled the entire drive extremely well. And yes, it can go through a drive-thru and stop at each window. The only thing I had to do was tap the pedal because it wouldn’t leave on its own, but it was still wild seeing the AI stop perfectly at the second window and wait. There are a million things I could write about why a Tesla feels like a better car and how much more it offers compared to a regular car. But for now, I’ll stick to FSD. There were only two moments that made me a little uneasy. The first was pretty minor. The car slightly hesitated going up a driveway, but quickly made up its mind. The second was more noticeable. I didn’t realize the car was nagging me. Once I touched the steering wheel, nothing happened, so I pulled it right a little harder, then let go. After that, the car turned left and crossed a double yellow on a backroad. (and yes I know you can sue the volume knob) I’m not totally sure if it was trying to pull over or what it was doing. I wanted to see how it would handle the situation, but there were cars coming, so I took over and corrected it. One of the coolest moments was when I thought FSD was glitching because it came to a complete stop in the middle of a busy road. Then I looked around and realized why. On the right side, there was a bicyclist waiting at a yellow crosswalk. The cars behind me didn’t honk, and the Tesla stopping actually incentivized another car in the right lane to stop and let him pass. The car is almost too nice to pedestrians, because 99.999% of humans would’ve blown through that, especially with no flashing light. For 99.9% of the drive, the car navigated confidently and smoothly. It was a real “feel the AGI” moment. Please do not let the media, the general public, or anyone else convince you that this technology is just some kind of auto assist or glorified cruise control. This is undoubtedly getting extremely close to feeling superhuman. You still have to pay attention to the road, but after experiencing it myself, I’d be shocked if HW4 Teslas aren’t unsupervised within the next couple years. The car was extremely smooth. There was no harsh braking, and it even avoided something in the road that I didn’t see. Driving with FSD made me realize I probably wasn’t driving as well as I could be. Hopefully, eventually, everyone’s car can be as mindful as a Tesla. I’ve never seen a brand so far removed from the public’s sentiment. I’m so happy I ordered one.
