Aubery Mensah, the executive producer of RBA and a long time collaborator and friend, contacted me about The IRONBOY ALBUM project for Black Sherif approximately two years ago. My partner John Eshun and I immediately began brainstorming potential concepts to propose to Black Sherif's team.

My goal was to build the mechanics and top of mind, creating the finest image possible for the distinctive personality of Black Sherif. The Big Question: How do you make the greatest even more iconic? How do we turn IRONBOY into a Platinum project after having creatively directed "The Villian Never Was" in 2022? A difficult one, huh? The goal was 1. ICONIC 2. ICONIC! 3. ICONIC!! HIS IMAGE/PERSONA I pictured black sherif, a rockstar, plummeting from the sky and landing on Earth wearing a crown of stars. THE AUDIO VISUALISERS We were required to conduct a comprehensive 3D scan and mapping of Black Sherif. Subsequently, he completed the motion capture for more than 18 tracks in preparation for the album's final selection. FYI, the final renderings were fine-tuned and rendered in 4K in Brazil using render farms.
