Finding twitter scraping bots with Gatsby Sometimes the alpha is on-chain, other times you need an off-chain setup. The latter is often the case with tokens that are born out of activity on X. One recent example is Moonkin , which pumped after Vitalik posted about it here: You... knew Moonkin would pump if Vitalik mentioned it but you can't build a scraper yourself. How to profit from this? The video shows an example of how you can find scraper bots that do the dirty work for you and allow you to make money in your sleep. By conducting this type of research on multiple tokens like this, you will end up with decently sized and alpha-rich list of scrapers. $GATSBY now allows you to create and manage lists and to reference them in your queries, allowing you to keep your workflow in platform. Jordan Peterson: "If you can't fix your room, you can't fix your life" "Why should you even bother improving yourself? The answer is something like: so you don't suffer anymore stupidly than you have to. And maybe so others don't have to either. It's not some casual self-help doctrine. Most developers can't explain how Single Sign-On (SSO) works. This was one of my favorite questions during technical interviews. I love to ask about it because it's not a trivial topic. Here is a 5-minute overview of how Single Sign-On works. We all hate passwords; the less we use them, the better, and SSO helps with that. When you log in to Google once and visit YouTube, Gmail, Drive, and any other connected service without re-entering your password, three players are working behind the scenes: • A user trying to access an application. You, in this case. • The application you want to access. For example, YouTube. • An Identity Provider (IDP) that will verify your identity. Google, in this case. Here is what happens when you try to access one application for the first time: 1. You try to log in to YouTube, and the application redirects you to the Identity Provider (IDP) for authentication. 2. The IDP (Google) checks your credentials and confirms your identity. It creates a new session for you on its server and sets a session cookie in your browser. 3. The IDP also creates a token for YouTube—a small piece of data that contains information about your identity. 4. Your browser grabs the token and presents it to YouTube. 5. YouTube checks the token, and if it is valid, lets you in. But then you want to access Google Drive: 1. You go to Google Drive, and the application redirects you to the IDP. 2. The IDP recognizes that you are still logged in because you have the session cookie. It doesn't need to ask for your credentials. 3. Instead, the IDP generates a new token for Drive. 4. Your browser grabs the token and presents it to Google Drive. If the token is valid, Drive lets you in. You can now access multiple applications without re-entering your password. The reason that you don't have certain excellence that you want is because you are afraid of getting criticized. You are afraid of the judgment that comes with it. You are afraid of standing out. Announcing Metropolis Part 1 – enabling users to immediately trade new tokens and markets. This is a major upgrade to the way Jupiter manages new tokens/markets and the token list. We are launching the new T0 API for new tokens, which allows you to query the chain to find the market with the most liquidity to swap directly. Tokens will be available using this feature immediately after they are launched. You can try this on today. This feature currently supports Raydium’s CPMM pools and Meteora Dynamic Pools/DLMM as well as Orca Whirlpools. Direct routing is enabled, so you might need SOL or USDC to trade these new tokens. We also shipped a few upgrades to that aims to reduce loading times. When you open the UI it will only load the strict list, instead of the entire 80K tokens on the all-list. We then use Typesense, a performant search engine to serve results from the all-list. If the all-list doesnt contain your desired token, it will then query the chain directly using the new T0 API and swap using direct routing. You should see improved loading times on the front-end and an overall much smoother experience looking for your tokens now. We will be rolling out Metropolis Part 2 and Ecosystem Token Lists next. Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You cannot train dam-building into them or out of them any more than you can with a beaver. A beaver wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. One of the ways I use social media is to put out a “principle of the day” so that we can have a conversation about it. It’s usually about life, or work, or current events. Lots of people send in questions about it each day, and I wish I could answer all of them. But now, with my AI Twin “Digital Ray,” I have my own version of that. Let me give you an example of what I mean. Today’s Principle of the Day is: Pain + Reflection = Progress There is no avoiding pain, especially if you're going after ambitious goals. Believe it or not, you are lucky to feel that kind of pain if you approach it correctly, because it is a signal that you need to find solutions so you can progress. If you can develop a reflexive reaction to psychic pain that causes you to reflect on it rather than avoid it, it will lead to your rapid learning/evolving. After seeing how much more effective it is to face the painful realities that are caused by your problems, mistakes, and weaknesses, I believe you won't want to operate any other way.
