Finished work on "ripple" click effect. That was surprisingly tricky to implement. I might polish the style and feel of it, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.

It looks like these sketch-style storyboards work really well in Seedance 2.0. I'm going to stick with this approach for a while. In the video prompt, I only include intent, style, reference and visual approach. It follows the storyboard surprisingly well. I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettling

This years been pretty nice. Been trying to do more stuff out of my comfort zone and I'm pretty happy with the results. Glad you guys seemed to like it as well. Mostly proud of animations! Was working on a lil doodle to celebrate, but that's for tomorrow. Happy new years!

There's an eye squint in the animation that is pretty subtle due to the resolution, I had the idea on the spot and it was straightforward to implement by just blending between the 2 textures with one animated value.

It finally happened! Bacon hit the floor. I picked it up and gave it to the human like I'm supposed to but that was super hard because it was a little piece and the whole thing fit in my mouth. But I got to eat it anyhow. Dirty floors = happy accidents #XDogs Video description: Chesnyy retrieving a small strip of bacon and then returning it to her human who rewards Chesnyy with the bacon.
