so the concept was… the fagtasia team wanted to parody the green “brat” curtain after going to charli’s brooklyn show… then I thought… since we were doing this shrek show— it would be cool to use the @BABY LOVE: ogre vs human fiona narrative — which can be

extrapolated allegorically to so many issues. In my mind, being a fat trans girl, there’s so many instances where i’ve shared the feeling charli talks about in this song.. and to me it was like the human fiona was the “normal” girls my trade publically dates

and i’m the shameful secret - the “ogre” if you will. And in that way, I wanted ogre fiona to kill that thought. to satisfy this fantasy, but to release it - pursue paths in life that don’t make you question yourself and your worth.
