A new home inspection! I'm seeing this more and more with new construction… they can never seem to get the rafters connected correctly to the ridge, the home inspector said while walking through a brand-new $420,000 house that had just failed inspection. What was supposed to be a dream home for a family quickly turned into a stressful reminder that “new” does not always mean “well built.” During the inspection, the inspector pointed out major framing concerns involving the roof structure, questioning how mistakes like this continue happening in expensive newly built homes. He openly wondered what is going on with some “new builders,” saying he has noticed a growing number of rushed construction jobs, missing connections, and basic structural shortcuts in homes that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Ubisoft please consider removing the camera cut during double assassinations in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and future AC games. It's a significant downgrade compared to what we had in Assassin's Creed Unity, the original Assassin's Creed Black Flag and even other Assassin's Creed titles. The camera cut breaks the flow of gameplay and makes double assassinations feel awkward instead of smooth and seamless. We understand that the new Anvil engine is far more complex than the one used in previous games. But there are already mods for AC Shadows that remove the camera cut during double assassinations, and the animations look much smoother as a result. So, if you work on this, I'm sure you'll find a way to remove it as well. We hope future Assassin's Creed games will remove this camera cut and restore the seamless double assassination experience that made the older games feel so satisfying.

They're not allowed to do the fire breaks, and they're not allowed to push the brush back away from houses because it might hurt some red-legged frog or something like that. It's like some sort of creature, usually a creature you've never heard of, that is preventing this from occurring. There's this fish called the smelt, for example. We have far more freshwater runoff into the ocean than we should on the theory that it helps this one little fish that likes a slightly briny freshwater salt water mix. And if we keep more fresh water, then the smelt fish will not be happy. But there's no actual evidence that the smelt fish is going to be unhappy if we keep a bit more fresh water. So, we should keep more fresh water, keep the reservoirs full, and just have some sensible fire breaks and move the brush away from houses. There may be times when you may think of other, more capable people who could more successfully accomplish what you have been called to do. The counsel I shared with students at BYU–Hawaii this weekend applies to all of us. Remember that the Lord put you here, now. And He did it for a reason. This is your season. You may not see the reason clearly now, but faith requires that we proceed without seeing—trusting the Lord. Let us not get discouraged or frustrated when things don’t go perfectly. We are all a work in progress. Through Jesus Christ, we will be able to become our best selves and accomplish the work God wants us to do.

Always try something new… Something we are always keen to do here is try different things. This year, we got chance of some raw chips. Ideal for finishing cattle, so we thought let’s try clamping some with the first cut. So we got 150t of chips delivered the week before we cut, to let the water drain out of them. As the silage was going in Jake was scattering them around the pit with the loadall. The theory is, it’s a way to store more starch while prices are reasonable but also adding it in to the fermentation of the silage should soften them and make them more like mash so it mixes better through the grass. Time will tell, it might be a waste of time. But if you don’t throw the dice you never know what might of happened.🍟

“BTS ARMYs are losers.” “Jin Kook, or whatever his name is.” First of all, let’s get one thing straight: the anger was NEVER about how much time BTS got. We’re not five-year-olds throwing a tantrum because our favorite people didn’t get enough screen time. We know BTS are grown men with packed schedules, and THEY decide how much they want to show up. That was never the issue. The issue was the shitty microphones, the absolutely embarrassing way they were brought in and taken out, and the complete lack of basic respect and professionalism toward one of the biggest artists on the planet. But YOU sitting there on your little unknown show, with your equally unknown friends, talking about BTS and ARMYs like THAT? And calling millions of people “losers” while going “Jin, Kook, or whatever his name is” because apparently learning the names of the people you’re discussing was too much work? 😭 And let’s talk about the funniest part: you literally put BTS footage in your video while claiming you’re “not using them.” BABE. You are using their images, their names, their performance, their fandom, their relevance AND their fanbase to generate engagement for your own content. 😭 You don’t get to drag BTS for attention and then pretend BTS has nothing to do with why anyone is watching your clip. And honestly, the fact that you think ARMY being loud online somehow gives you permission to disrespect an entire fandom is hilarious. You can call individual tweets cringe. No-cut camera requires a lot of skills, lots of clever hiding, different techniques to move the camera to entirely different locations. And you can notice that in the God of War 2018 and Ragnarok games, you can clearly notice the ways they have done that in boss fights, or just the transition when it changes the camera from Kratos to Atreus. The realm travel was such a beautiful thing in GOW games but the way of travel totally disappointed me in Ragnarok games, it didn't carry any weight like the 2018.... I get it I get it, there was no better way to do it. I think we can all agree, that the final Ragnarok battle was held back massively just cause of the slow HDD, otherwise we would've gotten a really cool fight between Thor and kratos and that too on the SERPENT. I truly think No cut camera was more of a challenge on PS4 than fun itself, the HDD must've made it really hard. But in God of War Laufey now you can see how clean and good it looks, no extra fog to hide things, boss throwing you across. PS5 SSD allows this. I strongly believe this experience will be much greater now, the boss fights will be fun and huge on scale, no holding back now. PS5 is a beast and you cannot convince me otherwise. I always had issues with the no cut camera for GOW on PS4 and always wanted them to get rid of completely but no MORE.

🚨WALKING INTO THE GRAVEYARD: THE MISSION NO ONE WANTS ⚔️🇷🇺🌑 After the ride, the real test began. A 9-kilometer march on foot through the "dead zone" to reach the Line of Contact (LBC). Every step is a gamble with a drone or a mine. We’ve reached the forward positions and crawled into a dugout with our allies—literally living in the dirt that might become our grave. The next objective is what keeps you awake at night. We are preparing to push into a destroyed settlement alongside the storm groups. Our job? To find and extract several more of our boys who fell in the last assault. They are still lying there in the ruins, under constant enemy fire. The atmosphere is heavy. We check our tourniquets, load our mags, and wait for the darkness. We don't leave our own behind, no matter the cost. We are the ones who go into the fire when everyone else is pulling back. Jordan Peterson explains why some painful memories never leave you and how to let them go. if old memories still upset you, if they still grip you, if they come back involuntarily, it means there are holes in your map of the past. you went somewhere that wasn’t a good place and you don’t know how the hell you got there. you can’t forget anything you don’t understand. especially if it hurt you. the part of your mind that’s concerned with threat thinks it could happen again because you still don’t know what happened. break your life down into seven different periods. elementary school, high school, your first relationship however it makes sense to you. write down the most significant positive and negative things that happened during each period. ask yourself why the negative things happened and what you were doing right so the positive things happened. then ask yourself how you could do more of the things that worked and less of the things that got you into trouble. maybe you were 16 or 30, and you didn’t know what the hell was going on. now you’re older and wiser. you can go back, look at those moments again and think about how you should have conducted yourself. one of the ways your brain computes how stressed you should be is by counting how many terrible things have happened to you that you still don’t know how to fix. the more of those there are, the more dangerous the world appears. the more dangerous the world appears, the more stressed you become and stress makes you old. if you can clean up your past, you lower your stress, improve your immune function, decrease the rate at which you age, and move forward with more effectiveness. don’t worry about writing it perfectly. just get it down as stupidly as necessary. you can always edit it later. it’s your life and you want to have it.

In 2001, documentary filmmaker, Bart Sibrel published, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon” The film shares footage from inside the space shuttle of Apollo 11 in 1969 that was never supposed to become public At the end of this clip, you can clearly see the exposure of the camera change from inside the spaceship proving that the crew used lighting tricks to make a small round window in the space shuttle look like the whole Earth. This doesn’t conclusively prove that they never went to the moon. But it does show that at the very least, images of the Earth from space that aired on television was fake.
