As I listen to some of these “Browns Film Breakdown” analysts, you’d think Shedeur Sanders was a second- or third-year first-round pick. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Caleb Williams are still struggling with well into their careers. Listening to their “breakdown,” you wouldn’t know that Shedeur was a fifth-round draft pick playing in only his third career start. None of that context ever gets mentioned. What they also ignore is how Kevin Stefanski marginalized Shedeur from day one •No first-team reps •Treated like a placeholder, not a priority •Only got on the field because the Browns ran out of quarterbacks—not because Stefanski believed in him Yet despite all that, Shedeur has made undeniable progress since being thrown into the fire against Baltimore—better timing, better command, better poise, better decisions.
