The City of SD approved a $2.8M contract for extended tram service and an on-demand shuttle for Balboa Park visitors, volunteers, and workers. The service is meant to transport visitors parking further away from their destination because of the new parking fees. The City is funding the two year, $2.8M contract using the same Balboa Park parking fees that are causing visitors to park further away.

I’m forcing a vote in the Senate to reverse this unfair rule that will harm workers and their families, businesses, and our economy.
