It's a universally known thing that if you park on a fire hydrant the hose just might go through your car. If you don't want this to happen to you, don't park on a fire hydrant. I've seen situations in person where the fire truck couldn't get to the hydrant because someone was blocking it. There was no way to get to the hydrant without the hose touching someone's car.

Naw, he’s not. During a major fire FD needs access to hydrants and every driver knows they’re taking a chance parking in front of and blocking it. The law protects the FD from prosecution.
