firelink shrine

Has to be my favourite hub in the series. I adore the music and sad state of it all, and the feeling of looping your way back to firelink shrine in a first playthrough is extremely satisfying.

So many memories, between fighting the crestfallen warrior, discovering the catacombs, looping back from the church down the elevator.. Might be one of the best hubs in a gaming setting ever.

Finally played this game, it was a truly wondrous journey that reminded me that there is magic and mystery around the corner, if you just take the time to look for it ❤️

The atmosphere of DS1 is something i cant tell...
