They're out for a paycheck. Hoping the owners or officers lose their cool and do something stupid so they can sue.

I remember when first amendment auditors would observe and record cops and local officials? Why are they recording random women? I’m guessing this has a new meaning in the 2020s.

If they really cared about 1A they’d be outside of every government agency, every police station, every traffic stop etc…but instead they’re at a *checks notes* pilates studio. And every one of them always look like they live in a basement and shower once a month.

What could they possibly be looking for at that studio? Like, I teach in SLP, what are they doing?

They film people in public to illicit a negative reaction and then post the reactions to their YouTubes. The cops can’t do anything because they stay within 1st amendment boundaries, just in the most obnoxious ways possible

Only locations they should be auditing is government and law enforcement not commercial properties. The fact remains though, whilst annoying at times they are well within their rights and mostly following a use them or lose them attitude to rights. Defo some bad faith actors tho
