First baseman Rafael Devers:

He’s got that 3B athleticism and instinct. This is gonna be fun.

Holy shit!

I was expecting an error on a routine play. Not an actual good play from him 😭🤣

Cool can he hit w RISP?

And there's also this

I know we’re losing but this is one heck of a play 😭

Watching Devers play first base is like listening to a Frenchman speak English Expect the unexpected

wow...just sayin, that was a keith hernandez style play

He could have caught this ball with his foot on bag if his feet aren’t crossed up

Who cares! I don’t. Not obviously with bigger issues at hand. You show this too. Team just gave up the lead. Are playing like trash Falling further out of the playoffs. Lost 9 of 11. Idc that defense isn’t going to solve any problems. Seymour shouldn’t have been allowed to pitch the 7th inning. Also Melvin dumb a*s shouldn’t have got an extension. Deserves to be fired eat the money at this point. Useless manager who doesn’t manage right. Team is falling further and further and the decisions he keeps making are costing the team now.

Sick play, how bout score some fucking runs and win some games.

Locker room cancer, can’t hit without the Fenway bandbox and already make the team objectively worse.

Saved the season!

Bryce who?

Makes the hard play look easy and the easy play look hard

I'm unsure if this is a great play or a sign of an inexperienced first baseman but - either way - thank you for the laugh-out-loud moment. 😅

Guy played third base...with repetition he should be able to make the move.

Since we got him the sky’s the limit!

The moves of a ballerina.

he's an athlete!

Rafi already has a 1st baseman highlight reel 🤷🏽

This mother fucker

So zesty

Not showing the other terrible plays from him I see. Have fun him Raffy.

@juanluiscr27

Most boring call ever for such an insane play.

How’s he hitting?

Jesus

Just like when he started playing 3rd in Boston. He made the easy plays look hard and then he’d have flashes of absolute brilliance it’s the most entertaining thing to watch. Miss you raffey

#OriginalDeversDefender :)

Why tf did he not wanna play first for us man

Yankees will take him if you don’t want him
