At my aunts old Chinese buffet that was located inside of a Howard Johnson, we had an issue with theft. People would come in and enjoy the buffet but we noticed the ones with backpacks and big purses would have ziploc bags and Tupperware in their backpacks and purses. My aunt and uncle are very reasonable people, the price they charge for the buffet is the price customers pay to enjoy it while they are there. No carry out boxes are permitted to take anything home. The restaurant even has a sign that prohibits these items and the sign says to leave them in your hotel room or in your car. When my aunt and uncle left for vacation they had me fill in to run the restaurant for them. I had a group of 6 teenagers come into the restaurant from the hotel. I chit chatted with them being friendly and they said they were in town for a softball tournament. I didn’t seat them, one of the waiters did so I didn’t notice anything strange. But when they all got up to get food they always got huge heaping plates of food, they repeatedly went to get more food. On one occasion I noticed a black backpack tucked into the booth between the seat and the wall. I checked the cameras and yes, they took turns eating and when they thought nobody was looking they would dump the food into a bag in their backpack. I saw a huge plate of crab legs disappear, a plate of crab Rangoon and chicken wings was next. On their way to pay I said something to them. I mentioned I saw what they were doing and to avoid an issues I would be charging them double. I felt that was fair because that was the price of a Togo buffet. They were embarrassed, I was expecting an argument but they said they wanted extra food for when they got hungry at night after their game. I wanted to be lenient and just give it to them but if I did that for one person I would have to do it for all and it would costs the restaurant too much for food costs. But they did end up paying the double price and to be fair to them I did give them each a Togo container since I charged them for it. I told them to dump their food into it and if they had extra room in the Togo box they can grab more food. I managed to diffuse the situation and turned it into something positive, I feel that was more than fair.

I VEHEMENTLY disagree with Paul Finebaum’s criticism of Coach Deion Sanders, Sheduer Sanders and Colorado. He called them irrelevant and that they don’t matter to College Football. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Colorado is very relevant and broke TV viewership records last year even after their 3-0 start that saw them finish the year 4-8. They out drew some of the biggest brands in all of College Football last year. Their blowout loss to Oregon had 10.03 million viewers, which topped the Notre Dame-Ohio State game. Shedeur Sanders stated that Colorado is everyone’s Super Bowl game when they play them. HE IS CORRECT, if you take the time to understand what he meant. Every team that played Colorado last year played their hardest against them because they knew everyone was watching and it was their opportunity to shine in front of the masses. It wasn’t JUST ABOUT winning, they wanted to humiliate them and kill their confidence. It pains many that Coach Prime, his sons, Travis Hunter, his coaches and all his players are still walking in their purpose and have never wavered for a second. They know the mission they are on and won’t back down in the face of adversity. Colorado wasn’t an “Easy win” last year for anyone except Oregon and Washington State. 5 of their 8 losses were by one score or less. Colorado making the College Football Playoff AT SOME POINT in Deion Sanders’ tenure would be a great thing for College Football. Not just for the increased viewership, but because taking a program that last won a Conference Championship when Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter weren’t even born yet would be an incredible accomplishment and rebuild. Colorado doesn’t have to go to the College Football Playoff this year and will still be relevant. Teams will be jumping out of their skin to get after them a little extra because they think they are too confident. Coaches will up the passion because they believe they deserve the attention and eyeballs that Coach Prime and Colorado demand. Like Coach Prime said, he is analyzed different and his wins are measured differently. One thing is for sure though. Coach Prime is building something at Colorado and as an analyst, I don’t think we should be trying kick him and his team down because they are confident and believe in themselves. They are great for College Football because they are different. Different might make people uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Here is our full First Take segment together where Paul Finebaum speaks his mind and I speak mine too.

A sports betting influencer placed a $143,000 bet on the Boston Celtics to win the NBA Championship at Harrah's Cherokee Casino in North Carolina. The Celtics won. His ticket was worth $500,000. Caesars used his winning ticket on their own social media to market their sportsbook. Then refused to pay him. Those posts were quietly deleted. – Manny Cortez was a sports betting content creator with a large following on social media. – In June 2024 he placed a $143,000 bet on the Boston Celtics to win the 2024 NBA Championship at Harrah's Cherokee Hotel and Casino in North Carolina. – The Celtics won the title. His ticket paid out $357,500. Total winnings: $500,000. – Before refusing to pay him Caesars Sportsbook and Harrah's Cherokee posted his winning ticket on their own official social media accounts to market their sportsbook to customers. – Then they refused to pay him. – Their reason was that Cortez had used a third party to physically hand the ticket across the counter, known in the industry as using a beard. – Casino house rules prohibit players from using someone else to place bets on their behalf. – Caesars refunded his $143,000 stake. They kept the $357,500 profit. – Cortez posted a video of himself arguing with casino officials that went viral immediately. – On his own Instagram account he had previously posted a photo of his betting slip with a caption about calling his bookie to raise the limit. – Investigators used that post as evidence he had coordinated the bet through someone else. – He was banned from all Caesars properties across the country. – The North Carolina sports betting regulator reviewed the case and filed no charges. No further public update has been issued. – The social media posts Caesars made using his winning ticket as promotional material were deleted after the dispute became public. The casino posted his winning ticket on their own social media to advertise their sportsbook. Then refused to pay the winner.

College Sports, a Great American Institution that produces our many Athletes, Leaders, and Olympic Dominance, is a total “mess,” and everyone is saying that it must be fixed. After unending lawsuits and crazed rulings, there are virtually no limits anymore, and soon most Colleges won't have Sports because each and every one of them will be bankrupt, never to be heard from again. Women's Sports, and the Olympics, itself, are in the most danger from this catastrophic situation. College Sports are turning into Pro Sports, except with absolutely no rules, a result no one wants. University Presidents, Conference Commissioners, Student-Athletes, Coaches, and Athletic Directors all complained to me that it has become a disaster, after years of no action, and that Schools were losing Hundreds of Millions of Dollars a year. They compared it to a freight train that can’t be stopped! That is why, a few months ago, I convened a Roundtable bringing together a World-Class Team of some of the best Sports Executives, Student-Athletes, and Political Leaders in our Country. The goal was to find a Bipartisan solution to fix the problem. Based on these meetings and the expertise of the Leading Authorities, I signed an Executive Order, but I always said that the best solution was to get a Bipartisan Act of Congress to my desk in order to save a long and embarrassing ROAD THROUGH HELL for these Institutions. I’d like to thank Senators Ted Cruz, Eric Schmitt, Maria Cantwell, and Chris Coons, among others, for introducing the Protect College Sports Act. This Law resolves many of the most urgent issues challenging our Universities and Student-Athletes, stops the chaos and, most importantly, it may be the last chance to save College Sports, and Colleges themselves, before it's too late. The House has worked long and hard on this issue as well, and I am very grateful to Speaker Mike Johnson and Leader Steve Scalise for their work to fix this very major problem. I urge the House and Senate to come together to pass a final Bipartisan Law, that I can sign this summer, that reflects the views and input of both Chambers. WE HAVE TO SAVE COLLEGE SPORTS! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: The New TPUSA Is Everything Charlie Kirk Fought AGAINST— Full Video Of The STANDOFF At TPUSA HQ That No One Was Supposed To See🤯 Many of you have asked for it, so here it is. Here is the FULL video from Zee Cohen-Sanchez where she and her Unfuck America Tour took the fight straight to the front doors of the Turning Point USA National Headquarters in Phoenix to find out why they are trying to silence free speech on the Arizona State campus—the very thing Charlie Kirk fought for. What started as a standoff with security turned into an explosive, unscripted confrontation with the "Inner Circle" itself. Blake Neff, Jack Posobiec, and Andrew Kolvet actually came out to the sidewalk to face them. 🧊 THE HIGHLIGHTS THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE: The "Appointment" Wall: Security tried to tell them that even if they showed up with $5,000 cash to donate, they wouldn’t be allowed in to ask where the money goes without an "online appointment." The headquarters has become a fortress. The ASU Mystery: They pressed Blake Neff on why they their event at ASU was mysteriously canceled. He claimed Erika Kirk "has no idea" why it happened, despite her publicly attacking their organization just days prior. The Double Standard: When the topic shifted to debating liberal streamer Destiny (Destiny | Steven Bonnell II), the TPUSA team tried to pivot, claiming they couldn't engage with someone who "justifies violence." They fired back immediately, correcting the record that Destiny never condoned violence—and then they dropped the hammer: How can TPUSA unconditionally support Donald Trump while he’s out attacking Gold Star families and celebrating the death of Robert Mueller, yet claim there’s "no room" for civil discourse with them? The hypocrisy was deafening. The Hostile Takeover: Zee and her crew looked them in the eye and told them—this isn't the TPUSA Charlie built. It’s been hijacked by a leadership that is more interested in protecting their image than protecting the First Amendment. 🧩 THE "WE ARE CHARLIE KIRK" REVELATION In a moment of pure sacrilege to them, Zee's crew revealed their branded shirts and lighter: "WE ARE CHARLIE KIRK." Jack Posobiec called it "sacrilege," but they made it clear—they are the ones carrying the flame of actual civil discourse. They weren't there to be "polite" to a machine that silences free speech and does everything they can to shut down counter-protest. TPUSA does not represent America First anymore. They represent the War Machine. They claim to honor Charlie's legacy of open discourse, but the absolute second someone challenges them, they try to use their connections to get their event cancelled. FOLLOW: Zee Cohen-Sanchez and the Unfuck America Tour for updates as they are planning a massive lawsuit against ASU and potentially TPUSA if they find proof they were involved. Watch the full video. Decide for yourself. Who is actually standing up for Charlie’s legacy, and who is just protecting the payroll? 👇

🚨 Paul Scholes takes issue with England’s celebrations after reaching the World Cup quarter-finals, "Mexico are a bang-average team": Scholes: "I’d say the semi-final is probably the first time you can really celebrate. or you beat a major team." Scholes: "Thomas Tuchel has done nothing yet that Gareth Southgate hasn’t done." Butt: "Sorry, I’m not being funny, England aren’t Cape Verde. We’re not celebrating just because we’ve won a game. That England squad should be getting to at least a semi-final." I’m not going against the England euphoria from the game. I was buzzing that they won. I was thinking, 'Get in there'. I want England to win it. I love England fans, I love the passion and I love seeing the lads having a good time. We had great times when we won things. But we are a top, top team with world-class players. You’re talking about Bellingham, Kane, Rice, all these players. They’re winners. They win things with their clubs. Guéhi has been brilliant. We’ve got to be better than that. Celebrating for five minutes on the pitch is fine because you’re celebrating with the supporters who have paid a lot of money and travelled halfway around the world. I understand that. But in the changing room, somebody has got to say something". Scholes: "You’ve talked about the altitude, the Azteca Stadium and the atmosphere. They had only lost there twice in around 87 games. But people did forget that Mexico are a bang-average team."

🚨Arsène Wenger on the country he is backing to win the FIFA World Cup: 🎙️ Reporter: “Arsène, with only four teams remaining, who do you believe will lift the World Cup?” 🗣️ Arsène Wenger: “Looking at the tournament so far, all four remaining teams have been impressive in different ways. But if you’re asking me which team has looked the most complete, I have to say France. At the beginning of the knockout stage, I would have said Argentina because of Lionel Messi. When you have a player like him, you always believe he can carry a team to the trophy. But if we’re being honest, Argentina have struggled in each of their last three matches and still found a way to win. Against Cape Verde they found it difficult to break them down and looked vulnerable defensively. Against Egypt they faced many of the same problems. Then against Switzerland, the game changed dramatically after Breel Embolo’s red card. They deserve credit for taking advantage of the situation, but they haven’t looked as convincing as France. France, on the other hand, have been outstanding. They’ve been organised, balanced and incredibly dangerous going forward. Defensively they’ve looked solid, and they’ve conceded very few goals throughout the tournament. Kylian Mbappé has been sensational, Ousmane Dembélé is finally producing consistently on the biggest stage, and Michael Olise has added another dimension to their attack. Every time they go forward, they look capable of creating something special. One thing I believe is that the eventual world champion will come from the France versus Spain semi-final. In my opinion, that is the real final. Those are the two most complete teams left in the competition. If France overcome Spain, I believe they will go on and win the World Cup. Right now they are the most structured, the most consistent and the most complete side in the tournament. People can criticise Didier Deschamps’ style if they want, but one thing he has done brilliantly is make a squad full of world-class players function as one team. There are no egos, everyone understands their role, and that unity is why I believe France are favourites to become world champions.”
