Regine Velasquez was actually a Morena. Look up her videos when she was starting out. Jaya is also not light skinned, Lani Misalucha is also not light skinned, etc. I hate to say this, but please do not import the racial narrative in the West.

Huh. Maymay has been front and center during ASAP prods for 6 years, headliner of ASAP local & international tours, regular main performer of the show's dance segment. Other morenas: Kathryn, Ylona, Nadine, Jonalyn, KZ, Michelle Madrigal, Nikki Gil, Vivoree, Bianca Gonzalez etc.

📝 how do you keep that connection with your fans as things get bigger? 🐭 for me when i’m on stage, i'm always trying to see each [persons] eyes that i can see, like, one by one. every single eye that i can see, every single facial expressions that i can see so that i can resonate with them and i can feel their emotion, feel their energy one by one. so, yeah, i guess a lot of our fans feel that. i'm always trying to do that. and yeah, i think that's my way to get connected to my fans. ♡
