Thank you ! I don't know if there are many shader or vfx tutorials out there for Godot but you can get inspiration from other engines like Unity or UE.

Awesome! How do you spawn particles from the contact area? I assume it is a separate effect from the shader.

Thanks ! As it's my first day on Godot, I took the hacky way. I have a GPU particle system that acts as a collider detector then on collision it spawns those embers sub-particles. I'm sure that could be done properly with some scripting or custom GPU particle shaders.
