The more I see HomeView, the more I like it. Apple really nailed the design here. I can already picture this sitting on the kitchen counter and becoming something the entire family uses every day. This might be one of my favorite announcements from Apple this year.

No, the bezels are ugly and the wall mounted version shouldn’t be the same price as the the counter version. I’ll stick with my current echo show for now.

wall mount means no battery built in. so you can not use as iPad mini. and it doesn't use iOS system.

What does it look like for bedroom use instead of kitchen? Does it have a nightstand mode for in the dark?

There are just way too many gadgets. It’s all too exhausting. Next year will be “Homeview 2” with an “M12 CPU,” the “thinnest ever” until the following year. There’s nothing new, yet influencers pretend Apple invented a time travel machine. I love technology, but Apple makes it tiresome.
