This won't reach NA. They went to all the trouble to make the battery impossible to replace just to make you buy a new controller. No way this will come to the US.

I'm not sure I agree with you but we'll have to wait and see

Do you know how much harder it is to replace a battery on a pro controller for nsw2 VS a pro contoller for nsw? You have basically to dismantle the whole controler joycons included.

I don't understand how that means this won't be sold in the US I'm not disagreeing that it's challenging to replace the battery right now

Why does a corpo go to all the trouble to change a simple design to replace a battery on a controller to make it way harder? Challenging? You mean almost impossible. With all the component there is a high chance to screw up something.

You seem really mad about this. I'm not sure what to say. I hope they bring this design to the U.S.

Mad? How? Because I explain my opinion in a rational way, this make me mad? I hope they bring it to the US too but I won'r keep my hopes up.

Replaceable batteries, Europe only for now. Decades of 50Hz ports later, PAL gets the better version.

Yeah, the old one was really hard to replace

I'm kinda glad I didn't get the Switch 2 Pro controller yet. I heard the battery is difficult to replace in the old controller so I'll be getting this one.

Why’d they have to make it look like shit?

Profilbild von Nintendeal

you think it looks bad? I think they did a nice job of color matching the screws and both putting the battery door in a place that you won't see while you're holding the controller and putting it somewhere where you won't feel the screw holes or anything overall seems great to me

That looks cool actually like if you are removing a cartridge

Now if the EU could make Sony do this as well, that would be awesome. Because every iteration of fheir controllers sucks AASSSSSSSSS battery wise.

Now I want one!! That feel when getting the cartridge out of the SNES or Genesis or 3Ds 🫶🏻

Wow thats certainly appealing only.. Not having Hall Effect sticks puts me off ever buying these. If not the battery the sticks will eventually drift.

Are replacement batteries sold by Nintendo in Europe, or does the consumer have to buy third-party?
