This is NOT a #paid promotion. Some people may not like what I’m saying here - honestly, I don’t care. Two days ago, I drove on the Ganga Expressway for the first time after its inauguration - from NH-9 to the Bareilly-Badaun Highway. Seriously 😳 What an amazing experience! 😍 If you sit at home and only watch the news, it may feel like the Ganga Expressway is in terrible condition. But after actually driving on it, I have to say - the Ganga Expressway is genuinely very well built. Yes, I accept that there have been incidents at some locations. But most of the issues happened during the rainy season, where slope protection got damaged and the top-level side was affected. If the soil underneath itself isn’t stable because of water, how can the top layer remain perfectly in place? That doesn’t mean the earthwork was not done properly. In fact, in many places, the earthwork has been executed very well. But when it comes to water - who can really win? If the overall condition was as bad as some reports make it sound, this expressway would look more like the Lucknow–Kanpur Expressway, where you can see significant repair work at many locations. I’ll be driving the entire Ganga Expressway very soon, and then I’ll see what the actual condition is from one end to the other. One more thing. For the general public, the Ganga Expressway is one single project. But I look at it differently. At a major level, I divide it into 4 sections - and when I look at it microscopically, I see around 12 different sections. And if I talk at this micro level: 🔹 The section built by L&T is absolutely top-notch. 🔹The initial portion built by CDS Infra has a little bounce. If you drive above 100 km/h, you can definitely feel it. 🔹After that, the section built by HG Infra is also absolutely top-notch. They started with 50. Now they say they’re 18,000 In 1996 there were fewer than 50 of them. Today, according to the organizers, up to 18,000 walked through Copenhagen. A little at a time, until it is no longer a little. And let me be fair, because fairness is the point. There is nothing strange about them holding this mourning procession. They have done it as part of their faith for more than a thousand years. It is theirs, and they believe in it. There is nothing strange about that at all. What should stop us is the other half. There is nothing strange about Europe allowing it either, and that is exactly the problem. Europe allows it because Europe has forgotten who it is. A people that remembers what it stands for does not need to ban anything, it simply knows where its own line runs. We have lost that. And so the issue was never them. The issue is us. I spent the weekend at the San Antonio Riverwalk for the first time since I proposed to my wife, almost 8 years ago. Here’s the results 👇 What I saw was a grotesque, culturally homogeneous invasion of streetshitters. I could probably count with one hand the amount of Americans, and two were homeless sleeping on a stone bench. I felt unrepresented in my own home state. There is no longer the “replacement theory”, it’s moved to a full on “replacement mission” Indians were haggling with the boat drivers like they control the prices. Indians leaving $0 tip on a $150 family dinner after sending the food back because it had beef sauce. Turbans stuck out of the riverboat ferries and the stone bridges like whack-a-mole, and I wish they rented mallets. At one point there was somebody fishing under Selena’s bridge. We spent <2 hours walking and just left, nothing was enjoyable. There wasn’t even any cultural Mexicans in their Huipils, no shawls, no sombreros. Just turbans and Sarees, and red dots eye level as far as I could stomach to look. The big cities fall first in wartime, as the plague ravages through the smaller communities next who are usually oblivious to outside events. I was so shocked and appalled I didn’t even think to take a video for myself, so this is just a random TikTok I found but that also reinforces the narrative that it wasn’t a “one time thing” These roaches are everywhere and they’re not fucking leaving fast enough.
