FIRST LOOK: Wicker is an upcoming romantic fantasy that stars Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgård, and Peter Dinklage and is directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson. The idea here is that Colman plays a fisherwoman who pays a local basketmaker to weave her a custom husband out of…you guessed it- wicker. This looks interesting but I’m not sure it’s worthy of being added to my Letterboxd watchlist just yet. I’ll need to read more about this one before tossing her on the watchlist.

This is not an easy video to post. I was let go from Turning Point USA, and while I’m grateful for the opportunities I had, I can’t ignore what I witnessed. Especially how employees are treated and the direction the organization is moving in. I’m not here to be bitter. I’m here to be honest. This video is the beginning of me telling the truth, as much as I legally can. I’m speaking up because I know I’m not the only one who’s felt this way and our First Amendment right matters, too.

Best in Show is one of the first “mockumentaries” I can ever remember seeing. Catherine O’Hara couldn’t be funnier in this film. It’s not possible. This entire cast is amazing & this film is a throwback to the early ‘00s. I’m really going to miss O’Hara. We lost a giant.

Look at the first chart and compare it to Andy70B rn. I’m not saying it will happen, but I’m not saying it won’t happen. Low volume Sunday, if majors rebound within a few days I think this thing sends to valhallla. It can send regardless as it’s up the past few days when the broad market is down, but a sol bounce would rlly, rlly send it. I think bears ab to be blown out. 70B is literally in the name.

Scary Movie 6 drops this June- which I’m going to watch with an open mind- but it’s hard to imagine it will come anywhere close to the first Scary Movie. This movie still kills me, it’s still so funny, not to mention I’m always a sucker for satires, so this is right up my alley.

I enjoyed The Hateful Eight the first time I saw this back in 2015, but it took a few rewatches to really appreciate Tarantino’s vision here. I’m not sure where this ranks within Tarantino’s filmography, but I’m not sure I care- this is just damn good filmmaking.
