I simply can’t understand how this song isn’t considered one of the greatest songs of all time.

Sunday Albums of Guitar Gods The Rolling Stones – Let It Bleed Keith Richards and Mick Taylor delivered riffs dripping with grit and soul. Let It Bleed captured the end of the 60s with swagger and fire. Here’s "Gimme Shelter" live. Few riffs hit harder.

On This Day in 1964.. The Rolling Stones released It’s All Over Now - and just like that, everything changed💥 The track hit No. 1 in the UK charts, becoming the Stones’ first-ever chart topping hit there! Originally written by Bobby Womack, the Stones gave it their own raw, bluesy swagger - and the rest is rock history. What’s your favourite early Stones track?

The Rolling Stones had no shortage of classics, but few carried the intensity of "Gimme Shelter." Originally released on Let It Bleed, the song's haunting atmosphere, urgent lyrics and unforgettable guitar work made it one of the band's most powerful recordings. This performance from Tokyo in 1988 finds Mick Jagger commanding the stage with relentless energy, breathing new life into one of rock's greatest songs.
