On July 24, 1946, Bernard Lynch, a Martin-Baker engineer, volunteered to become the first in Britain to live-eject using a Martin-Baker seat. He safely escaped a Meteor F3 at 8,000 ft & 320 mph, and landed safely. He made a further 16 test ejections.👀

Burned out Sherman tanks of the 3rd Armored Division pulled off the Rânes-Fromentel road by an M31 ARV on August 17th 1944 with a wrecked Sd.Kfz. 7 tractor and 88mm Flak nearby. The latter's barrel is in its travel lock so it does not appear to have been lost in action.
