Zohran Mamdani doesn’t care about the victims of 9/11 because his professor father taught that there was zero moral distinction between the United States and Al Qaeda. Mahmood Mamdani: “It’s about shock and awe, whether it’s 9/11 or Iraq.” Mahmood Mamdani: “Neocon America and Jihadi Islam - partners in crime.” Just look at Mahmood’s coldly detached smirk when he says that 9/11 and the Iraq War are the same thing - he thought he was being really clever and edgy. Practically every major leftist intellectual talked like this after 9/11 and they thought it was really profound and edgy. When he was raised in this environment, why would you expect Zohran to feel deeply about the particular victims of 9/11? All his previous statements on 9/11 as a State Legislator always immediately equivocated the victims of 9/11 with the “millions of Muslims killed by America” after 9/11. The first time Zohran ever actually directly addressed the specific American victims of 9/11 was this year in his September statement. Prior to that every year he always gave the same pro forma statement comparing 9/11 to the Iraq War. Zohran just doesn’t care about it. The people that died on 9/11 aren’t his friends and they aren’t his constituency.
