An Alien: Isolation sequel in the age of AI is hugh news. Many don't realize that the 1st game was a major AI innovation, before it was "cool". The xenomorph uses AI to learn and adapt to the player's patterns of behavior, to hunt them better. This flipped the script of the standard video game formula, where players would study patterns in NPC enemy behavior to defeat them. Very exciting to imagine what the sequel can do now that AI is so much more advanced. The game was also a major inspiration for Alien: Romulus. You can see my scientific review of the film here:
