What i really want you to support, is sticking your arm through the portal

Tried! And failed, will try again tho. Visuals are easier than the interaction, I wanna allow grabbing stuff inside portals

are you using external cameras? i mean, how can you watch different perspective on portals?

The portals render a scanned version of my room as a skybox (which I previously made for AR reflections, eventually AR headsets will do that automatically), and a 3d model version of my hands

plans on making it available on Vision Pro?

Not sure if I can. Looking up Unity's Polyspatial now, all the materials should be fine, and I could render the portal to a RenderTexture. But since the liquid mesh is generated at runtime in a compute shader, it might not be possible? @vvuk @pvncher

I have been looking for something similar to this SHAPES app on the Oculus Quest 2 for many years. I am a Mac user. But we have PCs at the magnetic laboratory. I am looking for a program hopefully compatible with the oculus quest. I would like to add a magnetic field to a component in virtual reality. And be able to increase/decrease field strength. To add electrostatic potential to another component. I want to have the virtual magnets attract and repel each other in 3D space. I want to set an object in motion at a constant rate in a straight line or an orbit. I want to spin a component on its centripetal axis. (in place and or spinning while in orbit.) I want to be able to have the virtual objects go through each other or have the option to have them knock into each other and interact. Like a virtual game of pool. But in three dimensions. I want to be able to zoom in to see the atomic lattice structure while the parts are in motion. I want to see the orientation of magnetic field through an axial magnet, diametrical, horseshoe, Ring magnet, multipole. I want to see how the magnets behave when influenced by a 90° electric current… Or if the current is 45° relative… Or any degree relative/ fluctuating. I want to be able to demonstrate Lorentz force and Fleming rule. I want to see the arc discharge and dielectric breakdown for a given media after the virtual object is given an excess of charge. With the option to increase or decrease the media or vacuum. And to set the boundary limits where those forces are cut off… Or drop off according to the inverse square. I want to see the amperage and voltage of current relative to a given mass magnet passing by given diameter coil of wire wound a certain number of times around a core. When I inquired about these concepts in a software program years ago… A university in the UK said it would be at least $250,000 to develop. And that was just on a 2D computer screen. Not to mention fully immersed 3D virtual reality... Does any current software program have the capability to perform any of these functions in VR? If not… What would it take to develop it? And if there are programs available… What are the compatible systems of using the software to do what I'd like?

This is the type of game that will be the “angry birds” of vision OS
