SNAP food assistance funding will run out in November because of the shutdown, and millions of Pennsylvanians could go hungry. That's unacceptable to me. Congress set aside backup funds for emergency situations just like this—I joined 213 of my colleagues to push the Agriculture Secretary to use this money and make sure folks can keep putting food on the table.
