It is unfortunate that the Prime Minister of India made such a statement. The reality is that from 2014 to 2024, despite surgical strikes and the action taken now, the DNA of the deep state of Pakistan has not changed. Pakistan has been encouraging terrorism against India since 1980. No matter which government was in power, be it Congress, United Front, or BJP, every government in India made every attempt to fight terrorism. Politicising Pakistan-sponsored terrorism is not in the interest of India's national security."
