First time, in what seems like decades, I experienced a thunderstorm while not having the stress of being at work and not being able to see it! Look at the lightning strobe light!

3:45 AM we got pounded by a massive hailstorm in Leavenworth, with winds so strong the mulch from the landscaped areas of all the houses on our street was blown onto the driveways. Hail looked to be marble-sized or a little smaller. Some strong updrafts in that there storm.

Sehun: Ah, it’s great today~ To have (the venue) being covered with the colour I like like this, it’s very nice! But I took a look at you guys while the members were doing their ment and seems like a few aren’t wearing it. If you look at the back, you’ll be able to find the exit~ I’m just kidding! ㅋㅋㅋ

there’s something about him not being able to look at her when she turns to look at him in the kitchen. this man has always been able to see himself clearly reflected in her eyes.

Clingan on what he's going to work on this offseason: "Getting stronger. Getting faster. Being able to move my feet. Defend the perimeter more. My touch in that mid-paint section. Making sure the 3-ball is consistent." "I feel like just movement. Being able to move faster, better. Being able to pump-fake and attack the rim off the 3-point line. There's a lot of things that I want to work on and want to get better at, and obviously it's not all going to happen at once, but there's going to be a lot of time in the gym this summer."

Trump appears to be losing it “Oh shit. Look, I'm looking at the back of my head. What the hell. I don't like, I look over and now I look up there, I see, I'm having a bad hair day. This is not good. I have to have a bad hair day in front of Virginia. That's not good”

Wake the fuck up! The horror of being a father and not being able to protect your family. Horror of being a mother and not being able to protect your children.

What is "Borg" - a platform heavily used inside Google, to this day? Irina Stanescu: "At the time [2011-2016], I had not seen being able to dynamically allocate jobs, resources, clusters and all that - anywhere else. (...) It felt like a lot of power!"

Spent last week in Stockholm meeting the Rerun team in person for the first time! While I was there, I got to work on something I've wanted for a while: face culling for 3D reconstructions. Still in main (not deployed yet), but here's a sneak peek of scanning the library we hung out in. Being able to see inside meshes while reconstructing makes it way easier to verify coverage and quality.

The first sign of a stroke might not seem like much. Like - not being able to raise your arm. Or struggling to smile. Or slurring when you speak. Any sign of a stroke is always an emergency. Face or arm or speech, at the first sign, it's time to call 999.

Here’s DHH (Creator of Ruby on Rails & Omarchy, cofounder of 37 Signals) on why using AI agents does not feel like being a Project Manager: “When I was on that Lex interview last summer, I was saying: I don't want to be a project manager for agents because I had the mental model of a project manager of humans, and that's not what I enjoy. I don't want to be that far away from the production. I want to be in the mix. I want to have my hands in the code. What I failed to realise at the time was that running a bunch of agents feels less like being a project manager for agents and more like stepping into this super mech suit, where suddenly I don't just have two arms, I have 12. I can now look at seven screens at the same time, running five keyboards. I'm still the one doing it, even if I'm not typing ‘this’ as a keyword in a program. I have been hyper accelerated as a programmer. It's a different kind of programmer, but it still has the same affinity to aesthetics, at least when I'm producing Ruby code, and I'm able to combine that while being vastly more productive on a bunch of things.”

“A more experienced version of myself could look at me and say, “Rosé, you don’t need to be like that.” But in the moment, I’m still learning and growing. So in these songs, that’s just me accepting the emotion for what it is and even laughing about it at the same time without being too conscious of what other people might think of me.”

The Ukrainians, who are being rounded up like helpless cattle on the street, are rejoicing at the flight delays at Russian airports. While having no civil aviation in 404, it's like a burnt moth being happy that a person would have to scrape it off the ceiling light fixture.

I’m really not trying to be rude but is this woman actually signing? This seems like a performance and not at all what is being said in Walz’s presser.
