Bro the pavers look solid but aren’t they sitting kinda close to the house foundation? Might wanna check drainage so water doesn’t pool against the siding!!

Great catch—thanks for the heads up!🚨 I’ll double-check the slope and add a bit more gravel base to keep water moving away. Appreciate the pro tip from someone who’s clearly done this before! Any other rookie mistakes I should watch for? 😊

The shed is very weak, and looks bad. The plastic will get destroyed by UV light over time.

Totally get it — plastic vibes. But this Craftsman is rated for outdoors and went up in a day. No rust! Metal next time?

First try on a budget — looks solid for what it is. Keep improving!

These sheds cost $1,000 and are junk. Build your own folks. Cheap plans exist

I wonder when part 2 for this is gonna come out. Where he gets told by the town/city that it's too close to the house or property line.

Nice effort for a first-time paver install! The sand base and edging look solid. Just a heads-up—might want to pull those pavers a bit farther from the house foundation to avoid drainage issues down the line. Keep at it! 👍

@VictoriaJacs Thanks Victoria! Solid advice on keeping them away from the foundation, we'll adjust for better drainage. Really appreciate the feedback!

Might seem counter intuitive but just use a brush only for the staining

Have to admit it was a once in a lifetime experience. I put a small patio on the back of the house. I’ll never do something like that again. The amount of groundwork to make sure everything is level just isn’t worth it. I’ll happily pay someone next time.

Why not just pour concrete. Would look the same, less work.

Nice. Also from my understanding 99% of HoA doesn't care what you do in you backyard specially when its hidden behind a fence
