Starship Troopers (1997) was written off as dumb, fascist sci-fi when it came out. Turns out that was the joke. Verhoeven made a shiny propaganda movie about a society that cheers war and doesn’t notice what it’s become.

#VTuber #Live2DWIP For the first time I tried using blendshapes to tweak the head angles with this model. Yes, I went a bit overboard, but it works, and I'm happy about that 😸

One of the first three issues that Interfaces launched with is about reviewing and watching back animations. I find it super helpful when an animation feels off and I can’t tell why or when I’m trying to understand what actually happens in an animation.

From fear to unstoppable power 🌙 A cinematic AI transformation brought to life with epic storytelling stunning visuals and blockbuster energy Created with seedance 2.0 Prompt: A cinematic, high-budget live-action sequence. An injured young East Asian woman is crawling on a city plaza floor as terrifying, faceless dark-skinned monsters close in on her. She raises a glowing, metallic sci-fi crescent amulet and screams "Moonlight awaken!". A sudden flash of white light transitions to night, where she is suspended in the air beneath a massive, glowing full moon. Energy surges up her body, transforming her casual clothes into a sleek white and silver sci-fi battle uniform with a flowing cape and a glowing crescent tiara. Her eyes open, glowing entirely bright white. She lands dynamically, wielding a glowing crescent staff, and releases a powerful energy wave that disintegrates all surrounding monsters into dust. Ultra-realistic, hyper-detailed, epic sci-fi fantasy, dramatic lighting, 8k resolution.

If a Cybercab can roll through Chinatown at rush hour - tight streets, sudden pedestrians, bikes cutting across, yellow cabs everywhere, and zero room to hide - then the rest of the country is going to feel almost quiet. New York doesn’t give you a clean test track. It throws everything at you at once. When a car with no steering wheel can handle that and keep moving, every other city in America starts looking like an easier problem to solve. #Cybercab

I first wanted to talk about Jiyong having a carabiner chain decorated with diamonds as an accessory, BUT DID YOU KNOW THAT IT COSTS $88,818??? Does he commission these items with “Hey I don’t mind the amount, just make sure it’s number 8 only”?? 😭

#49ers WR Mike Evans has told the QBs that he's still open even when he's covered. "I mean, I'm 6'5"... I've done it throughout my career. But it's a thing you just talk to the quarterbacks about — when I'm covered, I'm still pretty open if you throw the ball up with some air."

THE TESLA MODEL S: THE CAR THAT MADE ELECTRIC VEHICLES SERIOUS When the Model S launched in 2012, the entire world still saw EVs as slow, boring, short-range toys for tree-huggers. The Model S changed that narrative overnight. It wasn’t just an electric car — it was a statement. Here’s why the Model S was so important for EV adoption: • It proved EVs could be faster and better than gas cars 0–60 mph in under 4 seconds (later Plaid versions under 2 seconds) while being completely silent and smooth. It beat most supercars off the line and made “electric” synonymous with performance. • It delivered real long-range capability Over 300 miles of range when most EVs at the time struggled to reach 100 miles. Suddenly, road trips became possible and “range anxiety” started to feel outdated. • It introduced over-the-air updates The first production car that could get major performance upgrades, new features, and safety improvements wirelessly — like a smartphone on wheels. This changed how people think about car ownership forever. • It forced the entire auto industry to respond Legacy manufacturers who had been dragging their feet on EVs suddenly rushed to catch up. The Model S basically lit the fuse for the modern EV revolution. • It made luxury electric desirable Premium interior, massive touchscreen, ridiculous acceleration, and futuristic design turned EVs from “compromise” into “aspiration.” Without the Model S proving that electric cars could outperform and out-luxury gasoline vehicles, we wouldn’t have the Model 3/Y explosion, the Cybertruck, or the flood of competitors now racing to go electric. The Model S didn’t just sell cars. It changed the future of transportation. It took EVs from niche to mainstream and showed the world what was possible.

After nearly eight years between albums and no major tour run since Testing, seeing A$AP Rocky back on stage feels refreshing. Cleveland got a reminder tonight of why he became one of rap’s biggest stars in the first place! The show was explosive from the moment it started. Rocky commanded the stage with ease, every record landed, and the crowd stayed locked in all night. For all the talk about him falling off or predictions that the tour would flop, tonight told a very different story. The difference between online narratives and reality becomes pretty clear when it’s time to fill a venue and put on a show! DON’T BE DUMB!
