Now the safety will be major concern. Heavy security which includes CISF + GRP + RPF + Section of army will be required for this. Bloody it took 77 years to connect Kashmir with railways. Congress supporters should be ashamed that they are supporting an anti national party which not only spoiled this country but also trying to push it backward by spreading lies and misinformation. Big task for railway and home ministry.

At present, the trains operate along the railway line from Kanyakumari to Katra, while services run from Baramulla to Sangaldan in the Kashmir Valley. The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project will be completed by year-end. The USBRL project, including the 48.1 km long Banihal-Sangaldan section, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 20, 2024.
