We wanted a true luxury Las Vegas vacation experience but at a local’s staycation price point for my son’s birthday. We spent two nights at the JW Marriott Rampart Resort The Resort at Summerlin in both a family suite with queen beds and open air balcony and a standard king room with an outdoor patio, we enjoyed the affordable pool cabanas, waterfall gardens, jacuzzi hot tubs, dining and co-ed spa. This was our first time staying at this resort and it was a 10/10 experience. We will go back. "I never thought in my life, with a panic fear of elevators, that I would work in a mine. But the war changed everything," says 36-year-old Victoriia Avramchuk at the mine's zero level. Two years ago, she was not allowed to work underground in the mine. Now, she operates an underground locomotive and delivers materials. Until 2022, the law prohibited women from working in heavy labor underground. However, during martial law, lawmakers lifted this ban. That's because thousands of miners joined the Armed Forces - and mines faced a staff shortage. Once women were granted the right to work underground, coal miners developed programs to attract them to their facilities to fill some of the vacancies - women were not offered to work directly in the mine's face, but mostly in positions that required attention and responsibility rather than strength. "It's like the post-World War II period. We're back in that period. Not a good period, but still.
