Crypto exchanges are non existent?? WHAT??? Buenos Aires has probably the best infra and eco for offramping crypto, they can even deliver cash straight to your door.

drop the guide!!!

Great video and great tips, Helena! Just wanted to share a few extra things that might help: - PLEASE stay alert when crossing streets and using your phone in public (pickpockets are real) - Tips are cash-only, so keep some ARS handy - If you’re a woman, I’d suggest using Uber at night - If you can, meet a local and get invited to an asado with fernet :) - Enjoy Buenos Aires, it’s an incredible city! 🇦🇷

WOULD LOVE the local asado experience

Then let's do it! 🫡

throwing a side event together???

Yes! I was initially thinking of doing a house asado, but given how many people might show up to a side event, I know an excellent parrilla in Puerto Madero 🙌🏼

cute okay lets connect in dms to talk this through

Do you think 20+ h travels hard? That's how latam hustlers travel all the time to events in Europe and Asia. Let that sink in :)

i dont know how you guys do this tbh. EU flights are 2-5 hours. flying to dubai is MAX 8h and i consider this a long haul flight

30hs?? From spain 12/14 non stop

yea for the rest of the EU you need to do a layover in spain. i did a layover in madrid (madrid 4s terminal is amazing)

Yeah true. Barajas is great btw

we need more how to navigate argentina advise

if you are a Trump supporter, you are welcome, if not, go to gaza or venezuela. IDC

30h? Le dio la vuelta al mundo, no aterrizo y ya pasearon..

“do not walk the cross walk to find an uber” best - uber app says the opposite, wrongly

Just a recommendation: Cabify is way safer than Uber 🙏

useful advice

Argentina is one of the biggest crypto nations in LATAM, let me connect you with the locals so you can find the right way @criptolawyer pls help here 🥰

.Lesson nr1, use Western Union to change money , if you have US$ , ask for a better exchange then official,( needs 100 bills) Learn bluedollar exchange. Never pay with card , very often you get 10-20% lower price at restarants , shops and so on if you pau with cash, but you should always ask before if its a difference between cash(effectivo) or card . Dont wear gold , expensive watches , its not comming with robbers, ( i never been after 3 years on the streets in Buenos Aires) but there is plenty of poor people , have some respect for powerty. 100us$ its a lot for some people. Almost all streets are very safe, but the trainstation, Busterminals and downtown its more problems( i never in those arias )

This looks nice

welcome

@lmeowhelena care to drop an invite for @joinpeanut ?

@joinpeanut of course - OOPSHELENAINVITESYOU270

Do you have a join code for peanut?

OOPSHELENAINVITESYOU270

love it

Never use claro chip here. Use personal is much better.

can you drop a link for everyone here? personal is like a mobile provider company?

Yes is the only one with good signal.

FYI Argentina is the best crypto off-ramp country on earth 🤫

So many tips!

Enjoy BA!

Be carefeul with cheap adapters for your electronics, buy quality brands such as Richi.

You can pay with a Binance QR code at spots that take MercadoPago

Do you know that you can use @settle_io for P2P transactions without KYC? It would be great if you try it!

Hi Helena!

Welcome helena 🙌

Welcome!

Nice Vlog Helena, can't wait to visit Buenos Aires Keep building 💪🏼

Wow, this is a lot of things to do!

Bienvenida

What do you use for the subtitles?

@LORDCRYPTONAUTA cupcut!!

get some sun screen. and .... you should know conurbano too

conurbano?… more info pls

@mauricio_ok24 Do NOT go there. Except for Tigre, San Isidro or Vicente Lopez there isn't much. That's the metropolitan area, but since it belongs to another province things are really different. 70% slums, way too dangerous for a tourist to go alone

@lmeowhelena That depends on what each person wants to see. Tigre, San Isidro, and Vicente López also have slums. Don't be racist.

Why not usdt?

theres a bunch of exchanges and folks on the street offering to exchange the money but they do not know what is crypto hahaha

I know some guys that you send usdt and they send ARS via a motorbike if you need. That’s why I was asking

that does not sound reliable hahaha

Haha welcome to Argentina
