Fishback duped me, back when he supported Vivek. Then I started to suspect him, when he pushed hard to be Trump's Fed pick. It felt like he was just jumping to every opportunity he could find...which isn't horrible, you have to be aggressive sometimes, but I found it to be pretty obvious grifitng. Now he's running for Governor, and he is appealing to Groypers in the most terminally online campaign I've ever seen. So a judge would explain they have to do their own research, make sure they understand they would be held to the same standards as any other lawyer, etc and maybe heavily hint it is a bad idea through that process but they can't outright advise it is a dumb idea.

After awhile of listening to judges, reading court transcripts, and judges orders you can tell when they are really making a point with a line of questioning or the way they inflect. So yes.

Dunno about federal garnishment but state garnishments they will issue bench warrants and pull you back into court and the bond goes to payment of the judgment. He may think he is cute now but unless he wants to constantly be picked up he's better off working this out.
