Everyone gets excited by the youth players. You only have to look back at Rio Griffiths to see you can bang in goals at youth level and then once you come of age it's a totally different level. He's now in the English 9th tier

Since Kane we've had a constant supply of wonderboy goalscorers who were genuinely exciting and who I hoped would make it. But Parrott, Griffiths, Scarlett, Lankshear and Donley never got close to properly making it with us. So I love to see this post but won't get top excited.
