Five years ago, if someone had said my final task at EPFL would involve prototyping a UI for molecular dynamics in AR, I would've called them crazy. And yet, here we are, pushing the limits of what a web browser can do! Built with Three.js and UIKit by Poimandres

Cursor now has a built-in web browser. You can say "start my app" and it will run the dev server in a terminal and then navigate the browser to localhost:3000. It can take screenshots of the page for iterating on design, and you can send DOM elements to the agent with prompts!

Jamie Dimon was asked about Erebor at Hill & Valley. It was my favorite moment of the day: "I wish them success. We have millions of competitors. If they can do something better than we can, go for it — that's competition. We've lost a lot to competitors over the years. We've done a lot well, but we also didn't build Stripe. We didn't do some of what Block did. We didn't do Revolut. I want to stay conscious of that. We know we get our asses kicked every now and then. And if they do a great job for a certain constituency, I can compete with them and do better — or they can compete with me and do better. Both are fine."

No Three.js. No fake web-based depth-of-field or focal-length emulation. Customize in web, render in Blender. While everyone is vibe-coding apps for flat pattern generators, or at most Three.js-based 3D scenes, we’re already one step ahead. We built an app that lets you use a web UI to control an actual Blender 3D render. Eevee engine is used for streaming quick previews back into the app, while Cycles renders the final image for better material quality and lighting. So simple to use that you can even give it to your client. Of course, built with Toolcraft.

Tip: Use Claude artifacts with Three.js for 3D graphics on the web. Started with a basic hypercube animation. Then I challenged Claude to be a '10x coder'. And to my surprise, it delivered an extremely elevated redesign! Pretty wild. You can do in 30 minutes what previously took a day of work. Now if only Claude had a higher rate limit!
