It is in the same dynamic as Senegal, which has competed with other countries to host the Youth Olympic Games. It is a foretaste for Africa, which aspires to host not only the Youth Olympic Games, but also the Olympic Games, with the scale that we know them. This is why it is a challenge for us to succeed in this great test of this nature, because we consider that it is Dakar that welcomes, but it is Africa that celebrates." — H.E. President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of the Republic of Senegal. Highlights from the Rwanda–Senegal Sports Tourism Forum, held in Kigali over the weekend.
