INHIBITOR COLARS NEED TO BE MADE... Because not all mutants are responsible and benevolent. Some are just jerks and creeps. Not to mention mutants who don't want their powers. Like image, a kid whose whole power is being a walking NUKE whenever he's awake, literally making it impossible for him to even have a life... most mutations are curses... the X-men unironically are the lucky ones in the gamble of life.

The New Mutants (2020) is more than a superhero film it’s a story about young people confronting fear, trauma, identity, and the parts of themselves they would rather hide. What makes the movie interesting is its darker, more intimate approach to the mutant story. Instead of throwing its characters into another massive battle, it places them in an isolated institution where their greatest enemies are often the fears inside their own minds. Each character carries something different, and their powers become closely connected to those struggles. The film explores how confronting fear can be the first step toward discovering who you really are. The New Mutants may not be the most conventional Marvel/X-Men story, but its focus on isolation, friendship, vulnerability, and self-acceptance gives it a distinct identity. Beneath the supernatural elements is a simple idea: sometimes, becoming stronger begins with accepting the parts of yourself you once feared.

The mutants playing baseball using their powers is so cool lol. I love the little moments like these because they remind me that at the end of the day they’re all just a bunch of kids who wanna have fun
