The child Louay Dweik, 8 years old, has been diagnosed with hepatitis in its most dangerous stage during the war. He suffers from severe jaundice, high fever, and a sharp drop in blood sugar and blood pressure levels. Louay urgently needs regular blood and plasma transfusions due to a sudden and critical drop in his blood count. He is unable to walk or move, suffers from extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, chronic diarrhea, vomiting blood, and frequent nosebleeds. Doctors have been unable to provide the necessary treatment because of the severe shortage of medical supplies and the lack of essential tests and medications in Gaza.
