For God's Sake if you're sitting on any Fixed rate hold or mortgage renewal offer that starts with a 3 just TAKE IT NOW, call in the next 10 minut & grab it Honestly even 4.09% or 4.14% should be a YES What about Variable? Another video for another day

We just closed on a 3-yr 3.89% with BMO which was locked in a while ago. We shopped around and the broker escalated to get us that rate.

That's my fucking luck. I've got 4.9% in late 2023 and it will get to the same level or even higher by 2028 when I need to renew..

Good thing we are in a trade war with the world's largest economy. That's really going to help inflation and our governments addiction to borrowing. It used to be cheap for them to borrow but the bill always needs to be paid. Unfortunately it's our grandkids that will be paying this one.

I Fix 5 years tuesday at TD 4,44% on less than 100 000 $. I was with them on variable. The trade war, the deficits, the debts and the economic depression scare me. Houses could go lower and they will serve themself with higher rates. But they will need to print too. Hard to tell

Banks will further discount rates for clients. Nevertheless those rates are still a bargain, try managing through 7%-21%.

Mortgage rates heading up isn't necessarily bad news. I know there are people out there who call it good news because prices will likely drop further hoping they can finally get in the market at lower prices. It is what it is.

Even across the border, it’s a good reminder that mortgage rates can move before buyers feel ready. I’ve seen people wait for the perfect week and lose sleep the whole time—better to know what you can comfortably carry first.

He can lend privately at any interest rate he wants. 2% if he wanted but he doesn't do this just points fingers.

Global rates are going up - the reality is - global inflation - currency devaluations is making borrowing more expensive -

Supply shock is impacting bond yields. Governments worldwide have printed so much money, and investors are now demanding higher yields. This situation could change if the war ends and oil prices fall.
