A car owner used to service his own car to save money on service costs. After some time, his car’s engine started overheating again and again. Even after driving the car a short distance, the engine would become extremely hot and problems started developing in the engine, even though he was also putting coolant in his car. Now, the car owner will have to spend a huge amount of money to get the engine repaired. The car owner wanted to save a little money by servicing his car himself, but because of that, he ended up damaging the entire engine of his car. That is why you should never do something without knowledge. You should not try to become an expert at everything you have never done before, because it can lead to a huge loss.

Ever wondered why pilots sometimes shut down one engine after landing? Once clear of the runway, a twin-engine aircraft may use single-engine taxi to the gate. The remaining engine provides enough thrust to move the aircraft while the other is shut down. The main reasons? Fuel savings, reduced engine wear, lower emissions and less noise. It’s not always used ; aircraft procedures, weather, ramp conditions and operational requirements determine whether it’s appropriate ✈️

Many years ago, I was told to shut the engine off. But I knew something they didn’t. If I shut that engine completely off, there was no guarantee it would ever restart at the level it once ran. So I kept it on. I tested it from time to time. I kept it sharp. I kept it ready. But I never put the pedal to the metal. I backed off when I needed to. I coasted when I had to. I protected the engine while the world assumed the race was over. It wasn’t. The engine is still intact. Still running. Still waiting. And maybe it’s finally time we find out what happens when The Big Guy puts the pedal to the metal again. And that’s the last bite. Feed Me More!
