I would be VERY careful trying to patch a tire with a material that has a different coefficient of thermal expansion. Plugs are a similar material to the tire and vulcanize to the tire with rubber cement. The material flexes, expands and contracts the same way in the same climate However if the screw is even partially made of a metal of some sort, having that on the face of the rubber doesn’t sound like a very smart thing to keep long term, especially if it doesn’t vulcanize to the tire.

@TheElliot__ Ummmmm, no! Interior patching is the only proven safe repair. Buff, vulcanizing glue, patch, heat, stitch. The patch adheres to the rubber and the pressure inside can’t escape. The hole on the outside makes zero difference.

I want to add, I have plugged many tires with the plunger type but I always use rubber cement, and a good reamer before hand. Not one has ever came out except for the ones that I decided to patch up instead, which the patch was a type that, after the tire was off the rim. There was a patch with a stem that you would pull through the hole. That was the industry standard but a plug with rubber cement, and I would assume as well with these little screws with rubber cement, but do the same thing and I've driven on a tire with 3 to 4 plugs due to not being able to replace it yet for the extended life of a tire to the point where the tread was worn out. I no longer want to have to do that kind of stuff, but it is what it is.

Why the fuck would you need 60 of these? If your tires get holes enough to the point where you'd need 60 you either need to get new tires or learn to drive cause its a you problem
