๐ Flamboyant ring intro goes horribly wrong when the bell rings. Anthony Hembrick CAPTAINED the U.S. Olympic team at Seoul 1988 but was DQd when he turned up late for his first fight. Unbeaten and world rated here, he takes on Booker T. Word #boxing

One of the most satisfying results of my boxing-watching lifetime. A buddy called me immediately afterward and announced simply: โBooker T. Word!โ The power of accessible TV to get the masses interested. USA Tuesday Night Fights.

A QUE NADIE LO VIO VENIR ๐ฑ @CapitanesCDMX dio la campanada del fin de semana al derrotar a Stockton Kings. ๐ซฃ Los capitalinos dieron una exhibiciรณn a la defensiva. ๐ช๐ป Lo mejor del partido en ESTADIO Deportes. #Capitanes #Kings #NBAGLEAGUE

Ref should be in Jail.

@davidcoldwell The ring doctor wanted that ref dead at the second eight count ๐

Referees only give A sides that kinda chance to regroup. He may have been talented but not focused enough on the task at hand.

Shout-out and rest in peace to Lenzie Morgan, Youngstown legend, working pro. The decision win that flashes on the screen here was on the Hearns-Olajide undercard. Morgan wouldnโt lie about it being a close one. Wouldโve loved for it to have been him having this Booker T. moment.

Absolute classic. I remember they were making the whole pre show about Hembrick homecoming to Fort Bragg. He was showing out no cares in the world for the 82nd Airborne and then got absolutely wrecked. Boxing severely misses USA Tuesday nights!

God bless Booker T. Word

He should have been DQ'd for wasting time with that ridiculous entrance. Booker T. Word was doing God's work that night.

Peak irony lol But if you really wanna laugh look up Jimmy Paul v Alvin Hayes

Yeah, the Hearns-Duran undercard. Hard to believe that The Hitman switching off Hands of Stone wasn't the most brutal knockout on that show.
