So this happened last night (3/20/2026) in downtown Victoria, BC. The person recording said that a man, after assaulting a group of women, jumps off the Johnson Street Bridge to evade police. The police arrived quickly on the scene and did get him out of the water to arrest him.

A man was arrested in NEWCASTLE after allegedly grabbing the arm of a 14 year old girl. According to a witness who recorded part of the incident, the man appeared heavily intoxicated before allegedly turning around, speaking to two teen girls and grabbing one of them by the arm. The witness says they intervened by pushing the man away before police officers, who had reportedly witnessed the incident, stepped in and arrested him. This man was shopping at his local store and on the way out this is what he saw. This woman was being accused of shoplifting. The Loss Prevention team tried to talk to her but she was resisting and not cooperating and at one point tried to flee. So two men entered a wrestling match with this woman, you can hear her proclaim that they are hurting her. The man pulls out his phone to record it, another employee is now trying to block his recording. He holds a piece of clothing in front of the camera to block him from recording what is going on. He even goes as far as saying she’s under arrest even though the police aren’t there yet. The man recording was asked to leave and was escorted out even though he did nothing wrong. At what point would the store not want this man recording, were they doing something they weren’t supposed to do, should he have helped her?
