@TheFlatEartherr Because we live in a fictional reality. It's not literal, it's a metaphor, but many of our long held beliefs simply are not true. And the further they can move us away from seeing actual reality the more control they have over us. The Truman Show is the ultimate form of control.

Because the truth of the matter is that we are gods in the world is a manifestation of our combined will. There is a tribe of people from the beginning of this epoch who know the secrets to manifestation and achieving a God like state, but they profit off it and have tricked mankind into believing that we have no power. The metaphor that you see regarding breaking out of the illusion relates to that. It's not about magic. It's about believing in yourself, and finding your own power. Knowing thyself. This above all be true to thyself. When you find yourself you will be able to see the world for what it is.
