Just watched #Gadar2 in Gaiety/Galaxy theatre in Bandra. Last time I went to this single screen theatre was for the premiere of my movie #Hum. #Gadar2 is a tsunami of emotions felt not only by the actors on screen but also by the audiences in the theatre. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of what it means to be a proud Indian. In fact it celebrates the multi culture/ multi religion facet of our country. It is cathartic. Crowds scream their guts out at every dialogue. Sunny Deol is not an actor anymore. He is cult in himself. He is on fire. And you feel the heat in your soul. Utkarsh Sharma is fantastic with great promise. Manish Wadhwa as Pak general is superb. Thank you Anil Sharma for taking me on this raw joyride in a cinema hall. Jai Ho! 🙌🎥👏👏😍

Some founders spend Sunday morning clocking 10K, 5K runs… I did my own version of a ‘3K’. Shipped 3,000 t-shirts. Cut to Saturday evening: Our usual transporters pickup vehicle broke down. The tees were needed urgently for an event on Monday morning event 327 Kms away . The best alternate pickup I could arrange was the next day, Sunday at 11 AM. Didn’t want to call my support team on their day off. Expected the transporter would send a few loaders but instead, a single, slightly fragile driver showed up. So there I was, spending my Sunday morning : hauling 60 cartons, loading them one by one of course with great help from the driver. Done and dusted. Understood what a HIT session must be like 😅 That’s the real bootstrapped founder hustle: no weekend off, just making sure your customer’s event kicks off without a hitch. A Baltimore native is making history in gymnastics. Kyrstin Johnson, a Temple University gymnast, became the first gymnast ever to perform during halftime at a National Women's Soccer League professional soccer match, taking the field at NJ/NY Gotham FC in April. The milestone comes after a standout 2024 season in which Johnson won gold, silver and bronze medals at the USA Gymnastics National Championships. This Northern Utah 10U baseball team, Rocky Mountain Reign, calls the other team over for a pre-game prayer. One of the boys from the RMR offers a prayer up for 12 year old Xavier Taylor of New Jersey, who was hit in the head with a baseball during warmups before his game on My 26th and collapsed. Xavier was air lifted to the hospital where he remains on life support. The family called it a tragic, freak accident. 💔 Greg Taylor, Xavier’s father, said his son loves his team and that “He will play this game again.”🥹 An update by Xavier’s family on Saturday said he remains in the hospital on a ventilator but they remain hopeful. 🙏 Kudos to the Rocky Mountain Reign baseball team, all the way across the country, for taking the time to offer their prayers and support for Xavier. Those boys are awesome. Kudos to the coaches for giving them time to pray together. Much respect to all the players and coaches from both teams.👏 Xavier needs everyone’s prayers.
