The "you need a PC" era of SideStore might finally be over. SideInstaller is a new open-source app by FrizzleM that installs SideStore or SideStore + LiveContainer directly on your iPhone. Everything happens on-device. It automatically handles: • pairing • provisioning • installation No Mac. No Windows PC. No desktop software. Requirements: • iOS 27 • LocalDevVPN • Wi-Fi router or hotspot For years, needing a computer was the biggest hurdle for iPhone sideloading. This could remove it completely. 📺 I've made a complete step-by-step tutorial showing exactly how to set it up from start to finish.

One of the biggest breakthroughs for iPhone emulation just happened. You can now set up SideStore, install StikDebug, and enable JIT without ever touching a Mac or PC. Thanks to SideInstaller by Frizzle, the entire workflow can now be done directly on your iPhone. Once everything is set up, enabling JIT is just a tap away. Highlights: • No computer required • Set up SideStore on-device • Install StikDebug on-device • Enable JIT in seconds • Pairing file import on-device • Live console logs • Process manager • GPS simulator • Automation scripts for iOS 26 • App expiry manager For apps like MelonX, DolphiniOS, and other JIT-powered emulators, this is one of the biggest quality-of-life upgrades we've seen. Check the JIT setup video⬇️

🚨 JUST IN: Claude got a huge update today and I'm flattered to be a part of it. As of now, Claude Opus 4.6 can build mobile apps and prepare shipping them on the Apple + Google app stores. We just launched Shipper a new package that empowers Claude to: → Build complete mobile apps → Recreate existing apps → Assure iOS & Android compatibility → Autofill listings for both app stores (app icon, images, descriptions, keywords, privacy policy etc) Claude Opus 4.6 can do all of the above in one prompt for ~$0.17/app... Publishable from the first prompt & built in 5 mins, not months. You can try it on Shipper by asking Claude to "create an AI chatbot like Perplexity" or "eBay style marketplace app for local goods". To celebrate this huge step forward, if you comment "SHIP" you will get free credits.

Introducing - testflight built for agents to easily share iOS apps with you & your team. little known trick, you can host signed builds and install them from safari if you cut an adhoc distribution build with your device registered in your ASC account. [1] i also added screenshots, past builds, what's new & more - it's easy to confuse what you're testing while working on 100 things → its totally free → no sign up required → works with gh actions that last one is neat - work in any linux sandbox or devbox, build runs in CI on mac runners, agent sends you the link or review in PRs 🤝 ios finally gets preview links just tell your agent "setup -- [1] By default you hit download and iOS asks to install it via system message. you get no confirmation when its complete, pretty shitty ux. i wanted some niceties like download progress / opening the app from safari (ios doesnt tell you when its done) so I watch the packets leaving the server to estimate download progress & stream this back to the site over websockets.

SOMEONE VIBE CODED AN APP THAT TURNS YOUR IPHONE INTO A FULL DUMBPHONE, THEN BUILT A 3D PRINTED CASE THAT MAKES IT AN ACTUAL CLICK WHEEL IPOD your iphone slides into a 3d printed shell that covers most of the screen and adds a real click wheel, so you scroll and press menu like an old ipod instead of touching the screen at all inside is a whole simplified phone system he built from scratch > 15 mini apps, music, books, camera, notes, voice memos, fitness, all of it > classic cover flow for apple music plus your own local files > a retro camera with film style luts, so you snap a photo without instantly editing and posting it > swappable themes, basic, y2k, toy, skeuo, flat, so it matches your style > the case physically blocks the rest of your screen, sealing off social apps and notifications he thinks focus is the most valuable thing we have left, so he built a way to make the most distracting device you own impossible to doom-scroll on

Do you understand what's happening? It's not just "AI can make iOS apps" anymore. AI is eating up the entire software industry. Even Dario Amodei (founder of Claude) said 90% of all code in the world would be written by AI. In 20 minutes, I built this Duolingo for AI upskilling app with Superapp. The idea was simple - almost everyone today knows AI is the future, but most of them are still feeling left out. Their current jobs don't leave them with enough time to actually learn and build stuff with AI. There's AI dev, video making, animations, testing, etc. But no time or clear direction. So I built an app to fix exactly this. With AgentIQ, you get new lessons every day. Every time you learn something, it gets added to your skillset and automatically refreshes your portfolio. You level up with every new chapter/pathway. It is self-paced but gamified enough (like Duolingo) that you never get out of touch. Without spending hours or tonnes of money, you build stuff with n8n, openclaw, etc. You ship AI videos to market your own AI apps. This could be a proper ed-tech company if someone wants to continue building on top. Happy to share the entire source code with you if you wanna pursue it. Like + comment "AGENT" and I'll send you the app link, a comprehensive guide to build production-ready apps, and the entire source code for this.

Super Smash Bros. Melee, running natively on iOS and iPadOS for the first time. Instead of emulating the GameCube CPU while you play, Melee’s original code is converted ahead of time and compiled into native Apple code. MeleePad builds on ExpansionPak’s DolRecomp and ModernGekko, plus years of work from the Dolphin team. I used Codex 5.6 Sol to build the Melee-specific iPhone and iPad app on top, with touch controls, controller support, higher resolutions, saves, and settings. Preview 2 is focused on online play. Private rooms with simple shareable codes already work in development, and I’m building an in-app list of open games. Melee is one of the most legendary games ever made. People never really stopped playing it, and I certainly didn’t. I loved getting this working, and I’m excited for people to check it out. Preview IPA below.

everyone in iOS development should watch this. seriously, it might change the whole industry. i pointed claude code at a live ios device running on revyl, typed "test everything," and walked away. here's what's actually happening: ① you don't write the tests. no scripts, no selectors, no test plan. i never told it which screens to open or what to check. it read the app, decided what mattered, and tested it. the entire instruction was "test everything." ② it built its own test team. it looked at the app, clocked that it's basically four mini apps (rides, delivery, services, account), and split itself into 4 agents, one per surface. scoping coverage like that is usually a person's whole afternoon. it did it in seconds, unprompted. ③ all four ran at the same time, each on its own live device. this is where revyl comes in. every agent gets its own live ios session in the cloud, so four running apps get tested in parallel instead of taking turns on one simulator. serial testing turns coverage into a time tax. running all of it at once removes the tax. ④ it tests like a person, not like a script. each agent drives the app the way a user would, taps through the flows, and visually checks each screen against what it expected to see. nothing is pinned to a brittle element id, so renaming a button doesn't take down half your suite. that one detail is the most annoying thing about how we test today, and it just quietly goes away. ⑤ no xcuitest, no sims melting your laptop. i didn't write a single xcuitest script, and there were no simulators booting on my machine. the agents run on cloud devices, so coverage stops being capped by what your laptop can handle. the part that got me isn't that an agent tested an app. it's that i never told it how. i handed it a device and an intent, and it figured out the scoping, the parallelizing, and the driving on its own. if you still write and maintain mobile ui tests by hand, i'm not sure that lasts the year.

OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft all back the same standard for running apps inside AI chats. Booking .com, Figma, and Canva are already using it. Still, most developers have never heard of it. It's called MCP Apps. So, why does it matter? The next time someone buys from your website, they may never visit it. They'll ask ChatGPT or Claude, and the model decides how your product shows up. Usually as plain text, sometimes wrong, with none of the experience you built. That's the next shift in how people find you: - SEO was about Google finding your page. - AEO was about AI citing you. - MCP Apps are about your actual product showing up inside the chat. An MCP server returns data. An MCP App returns data plus an interactive UI, like hotel cards or an add-to-cart flow, right inside the chat. The model even knows what the user clicked. In this episode, we build an MCP app from start to finish with Julien, the lead maintainer of Skybridge, an open-source framework that lets you turn any React app into an MCP app. Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 2:44 - MCP servers vs MCP Apps 5:12 - Live demo: Booking .com in ChatGPT 9:24 - How MCP Apps work: context and shared state 15:43 - Skybridge and its devtools 17:48 - Live demo: an e-commerce app in ChatGPT 24:49 - Code walkthrough: MCP tools to React views 28:10 - Syncing UI state: "What's in my cart?" 32:16 - Agent skill to turn any React app → MCP App 37:52 - Outro Link to Skybridge GitHub repo: MCP Apps bring your website into the chat. WebMCP does the reverse and lets AI agents use your website through tools it exposes. I've also written a full article on it, quoted below.

$100k MRR app idea 💰 Duolingo, but for personal finance. It was only when my sister explained that I realized nobody has built this well yet. Every finance app either overwhelms you or talks to you like you're twelve. So I built an MVP with Superapp AI. The idea was not another budgeting app with pie charts. It was structured learning with streaks, quizzes, and lessons that compound. No code. Native iOS. App Store ready. Superapp AI converts your intent into SwiftUI components, the same framework Apple uses for its own apps. Navigation, gestures, transitions, all compiled the way Xcode would. On Apple's end, there's nothing to flag, just clean Swift behaving exactly as it should. You also own the code when you're done. You can export your Swift files anytime. No subscription needed, no platform dependency. If you've been sitting on an idea this obvious, you already know what to do next. RT + comment "BUILD" and I'll send you a code for free credits. Get building.

Let's build a Deepseek Wrapper (Mobile App) without writing a single line of code! Everyone is talking about building web apps with AI, but no one is talking about building mobile apps. This video tutorial and @senior_swc template (built by ) will help you get starting building an app on iOS. This is react native so it's also compatible with Android and Web (But we will cover this in a future video). The point of this video is to get some experience in the simulator and to start building an app. In a video, soon, we will take the app we've built, test it on our phone, and put it on Test-Flight! (Without writing ANY code!) Just a warning: The DeepSeek API has been tough to rely on. So I decided to add Gemini into my app as a backup, which you can do as well (with any AI model) The code for template is on the next tweet. Timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 01:35 Setting Up Xcode and iPhone Simulator 02:29 Downloading and Configuring Cursor 04:10 Forking the Template and Initial Setup 06:10 Implementing Authentication with Clerk 08:23 Adding DeepSeek API and Testing 13:35 Enhancing the App with SupaData API 19:00 Using the Serp API to fetch video links 23:00 Figuring things out 27:30 Woohoo!!! Perplexitube Shout out to Galaxies-dev on GitHub, who's repo (chatgpt-clone-react-native), we very helpful in building this template quickly.

This is insane... No really.. I just randomly tried superapp to build an mvp - a Duolingo style app for AI upskilling and it was ready in 20 minutes Then I played with Seedance 2.0 inside arcads for a while and built an n8n agent that fetches all these ai ugc videos promoting the app and posts on IG and TikTok You know what's crazy? 800+ people signed up to get access. And the app DOESN'T even exist yet. It is just a static MVP, but still did a good enough job to attract real users (who may eventually become paying customers) This is the future Sell before you build. Move fast with AI, build a distribution engine, and scale to $1m ARR with a single-person team For now, my stack is simple > Claude + Arcads + Superapp I have tried a lot of AI tools... when I say a lot, it really is ridiculously lot of them. I almost have a new dm from a founder every other day. But I use the above stack because Claude → absolute beast with automations Superapp → outputs actual SwiftUI Arcads → most realistic AI ugc + API access And there are so many other tools you can plug into your ecosystem to literally automate and test 10 different app ideas with 50 TikTok accounts. Affiliate deals, AI powered slideshows, n8n automations, custom funnels for every app. It just continues to blow my mind what's possible today. I compiled everything I learned into a single comprehensive Notion guide that explains: → How to find viral-worthy app ideas → How to build production-ready iOS apps → How to distribute your app across channels → and a bunch of free resources Like + comment "AGENT" and I'll send it 📨

the future is not the app store a 6 minute rant vibe coding tools have one problem no one's talking about anyone can make an app but no one can release an app posting on tiktok is instant, posting on youtube is instant what if posting a video on tiktok took 2-7 days and a panel of individuals who have NEVER posted a tiktok on their own, determined if your video was "tiktok-like" welcome to the 2025 app store, where this is the case let me explain a long time ago, when the first few iphones were released, apple had a tough battle motorola and blackberry were great competitors with phones people loved apple decided to open up the app store, and invite devs to come create whatever they wanted the app store was created by people like me, iBeer, Paper toss, Bump. these are my founding fathers. people who treated engineering as art. they didn't care about being cool they cared about making their friends look cool and using iBeer made you look cool the catch was -> iBeer was only available on the iPhone as hundreds of these iPhone exclusive apps were released thousands, hundreds of thousands, and millions flocked to use an iPhone small, focused, creative apps made the iPhone what it was but as soon as the iPhone became incumbent, the doors shut. tight. new rules. new regulations. new taxes. i spent the last 6 days working on an app we release an app a week at Danger Testing, bringing back that old energy. making the internet fun again i didnt sleep much, and even with the trauma the app store has put me in before ~ i had faith. that they would do right by this work I put in I was wrong They haggled with me for a few days on the type of data I was storing, which was none ~ (they would know that if they were engineers) Then at the last minute mailed it in with a rejection, with the words "this app is not app like" a sentence that means nothing Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality this is a guideline they hide behind anytime they have decided internally they don't feel an app should be released, but don't want to tell you why you leave me stranded. no where to go, no improvements to make, just go away there's a huge opportunity waiting to happen in apps right now for the first time apps can be cultural commentary, apps can be viral and ephemeral APPS CAN BE EVERYTHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS CAN BE software is fast, software costs nothing everything is lined up except the app store as it stands isn't a platform, it's a government and your average vibe coder is not going to push through a rejection, let alone 20+ rejections -> which i received on my first app of the year millions of apps will be made the success of these apps should be dependent on distribution, not on if some dude thinks its legit This revolution will NOT happen if the doors we have to go through are owned by the app store We need something new, something true and beautiful and welcoming Danger Testing wants everyone to be an appstar This tweet is not on the heels of a single rejection It's on the heels of hundreds of app store rejections in a lifetime A battle to provide the world with what I know it will love But a battle filled with friction at every turn due to the suits I remember being at a hackathon and making this app with andrea The judges ranked us last place, said the app was too goofy Today the last iteration of that app got 25+ million views across the internet This is the new world A group of dudes sitting behind a table don't get to decide our reality, we get to create it Fight back Don't ever allow yourself to be subjected by non shipper losers with no courage The cavalry isn't coming We are the cavalry Let's fight

I've been building a music player with Next.js for fun. Here's a quick demo of how it works (it's open source!) • Demo: • Code: If you want to learn more about how it's built, here's more details ↓ I'm using Postgres (with Drizzle) to store information about the songs and playlists. Audio and image files are stored in Vercel Blob (object storage), and the URLs are then referenced in the database. For the UI, I'm using shadcn/ui (so Tailwind CSS and Radix). This made it easy to copy/paste in some nice components, like the dropdown menus. I built the entire first version of the UI in v0 and then iterated from there, feeding it my Drizzle schema as a source in the project and having it scaffold some of the boilerplate for me: I added support for keyboard navigation (using arrow keys) or vim motions (j/k to go up/down, and h/l to go between playlists and tracks). Also, space to toggle the now playing song, and / to focus the search input. The search function has a nice utility to highlight the currently searched text on the page in yellow. Then, I was exploring how to pass metadata from my application to macOS or iOS. Turns out there's an API for that – MediaSession. Web apps can share metadata about what media is playing (title, artist, album artwork) and sync play/pause/seek with system media controls. Works across modern browsers — even integrates with iOS dynamic island and shows up on lock screens: I set up my app like a PWA – it has a manifest.json file, so it can be installed to my iOS home screen or added to my dock on macOS. On iOS, it then uses the full screen height `100dvh` (dynamic viewport) and has padding on the bottom for the safe area with the `env()` CSS function. Finally, I was able to use the Vercel AI SDK in a script to clean up the metadata on audio files I downloaded from YouTube. Bonus: I even was able to dogfood the React Compiler, which helped me fix a performance bug! That's all! It's fun to make personal software:

Its day 4 of building an app to $20,000/mo in public to prove that its not luck. I own 10 apps myself and im partnered with Mau Baron on prayer lock, which is currently at $20k/mo so we came together again to make another banger we had a MASSIVE pivot on the app idea on Saturday at 3AM Now we are building an app that blocks your phone until you walk You pay for screen time with steps I think all of us reading this post ( as founder and developers ) sometimes we forget to move our body When we lock in too hard. But health comes before anything So now literally 48 hours after pivoting we are 99% finished with the app Mau cooked: →App loop →Screen & health Api →Logo →Ad MMP and I cooked the: → Onboarding → Website → Appstore page We built everything you see on the video using Rork is awesome, cuz you can literally make an app in a few hours and ship it to the AppStore In literally 3 clicks now we are just waiting on the screen time api To get approved. in the meantime we are warming up some tiktok accounts to start marketing and running ads
